I went to this dentist for almost 4 years. 1 year ago they tried to tell me that they believe my daughter needed braces and they told me again 6 months ago. For the most part, I ignored this and let it go as my daughter has really straight teeth. But to add on to that, they told me 6 months ago that they believe I have the “beginning” stages of periodontal disease and I need a deep cleaning and pay an additional $20 per visit after the deep cleaning. I was confused by this...for one...I have gone to this dentist for 4 years never missing a 6 month check up, in addition...I have only had 1 cavity in my lifetime and suddenly I have periodontal disease? They even made me sign a waiver saying basically if I get cancer, I won’t sue them. It was the most absurd thing ever. So I signed the waiver, refused treatment. I went to my childhood dentist today as he now accepts my insurance. My mom has been going to him for 30 years. And come to find out many people at my job see him. I go there today...guess what? My daughter doesn’t need braces. They have an orthodontist on site. They do oral cancer screenings with every visit. Crossroads charges “extra” for this. In addition, I have NO signs of periodontal disease. Watch this dentist...they are out to get your money and not to clean your teeth.
