My fiancee went in today to have a broken tooth looked at. After talking to her about a treatment plan, she decided to just have the extraction done and look at doing a deep cleaning another time. They completed the extraction and then decided to try to start cleaning her teeth. She freaked out and he finally stopped. He was extremely rough to the point that she had to remove her glasses because, he kept pushing them into her face. Her mouth is extremely soar and the only she can think of to describe her experience "It was a brutal. Its like one of the horror shows when someone goes to Mexico to have work done." She is a strong women and when I saw her afterwards, she was shaking.
To top it off, they then filled out her pain prescriptions dated for the day after. So she gets to spend the evening in pain. No true patient care, just pushing patients through to hit numbers. I have seen more compassion in a puppy mill.

This place is a joke! I wasn't a patient, but was sitting in the lobby area while I waited on a friend of mine who was in their appointment for an exam. I continuously heard the ladies up front discussing other people's accounts, and not having nice comments about most of them. I heard things such as "What a pain in the butt. They just don't get it. So dumb." I heard them using people's names, complaining that people should just wait for them to have a chance to do their job instead of bothering them all day while they were busy. They then would spend between 5 to 10 minutes just discussing things about their day outside of work. Yeah, you're REALLY busy! Don't tell people you're busy and then begin "water-cooler discussions" about what you want to do when you get off work. If you work in a place and want to discuss financial situations about your clients, don't openly speak within earshot of the public, and especially don't use people's personal information in the conversation! It's not that I was sitting close to their cubicles or their office spaces, but those ladies up front don't grasp the concept of speaking at a moderate volume. Loud is putting it nicely. Don't go here, because you won't be treated like a client, you won't have your privacy properly safe-guarded, and they are just NOT NICE!

These guys try to sell a product that doesn't get covered by any insurance. Dont get fooled. The dentist said my bone structure is deteriorating and I'll lose all my teeth if I don't get treated. But I consulted another dentist who says everything looks good.

I am a part time resident of Reno NV. I went to Western Dental for x-rays and a consult related to pain in a wisdom tooth. I was seen by Samuel Thomas DDS who was concurrently treating 3 other patients and never introduced himself. After examining the x-rays and without probing or a through look into my mouth, I was given a diagnosis that involved at least 8 crowns and other procedures for significant $$$$. None of these procedures have ever been diagnosed by my long-time (20yrs) Dentist in California?
