Rio Dental & Orthodontics

Just moved to New Mexico and have been looking for a dentist for a few months. After reading Rio Dental reviews I decided to make an appointment. I had the most amazing experience, they explain everything, took there time, they showed me and explained my dental X-rays, no up- sales, staff extremely nice and welcoming. I will highly recommend Rio Dental to anyone.

This dental office is very efficient and effective in keeping your teeth in great shape. They are always on time and take care of you when the appointment says they will. The staff is friendly and Dr. Gonzales is extremely competent!

Dr. G and his staff were amazing today! I have been apprehensive about seeing a dentist, but his staff made me feel at ease. No judgements. I highly recommend.

For the most part everyone was pleasant and professional as they have been since 1996 as I have been a Patient when it was Small Smiles then Pearly Whites as Dr. Dennis Bergman was one of the best Dr. I was Privelaged to have know.
Your Staff I understand is all different and were very courteous except for the finance person.
I was so proud of myself for being able to pay $400.00 I had to save and skip other bills in order to come up with this amount.
I have never been treated so poorly as she spoke to me as I was a charity case.
She said you just don't want to pay anything, I asked her why she was speaking to me like that.
Of course I am going to pay I just don't have $1000 plus dollars on me.
Obviously this person could benefit from Professionalisum training and Empathy as I have undergone back to back surgeries in the last 6 weeks.
Which is not her problem, my point is I have never been made to feel as if I were a second class citizen.
I will be contacting your office as I was told my left over portion of my bill was.
1600 my insurance paid for 2019
1600 my insurance would pay for 2020
I paid 700.00 When I was seen at my initial visit for this implant, paid 100.00 payments twice as I was told I only owes 600.00 before my 200.00 was paid above. , my balance would be 400.00.
You can see why I was disappointed to find out it was a different amount.
Just the way I was treated is not acceptable in any type of business.
I Pray no one else has to be treated this way.

My visit to this clinic was definitely 5 stars. As a new patient... from making the first appointment, the receptionist, x-ray tech, hygienist and Dr. Gonzalez all were friendly, thorough and I would highly recommend.

Easy to schedule and friendly, professional staff.

Honestly I am so nervous going into a dentist office on a normal routine visit and today I was in so much pain and they made me feel so comfortable that it was hard to be anxious! I recommend them especially if you are an anxious dental patient!

The entire staff are very professional and courteous. Dr. Gonzales is wonderful. He explains in detail any issues regarding current and future care. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for dental care to go to Rio Dental.

I went in for an emergency visit due to a broken tooth. The staff and Dr. Gonzales were all so professional and courteous. It was the BEST experience I’ve had at a dental office!
