Dr. Ganglani was amazing. I had a root broken above the gum. He eliminated the pain, explained the options clearly and as a bonus he had a great sense of humor while being empathetic to my situation. They are now my new dentist. Great friendly atmosphere from everyone!

The staff is friendly and I didn’t spend any time in the waiting room. The cleaning was good and the dentist quickly did his check right after my cleaning was finished. Friendly. Respectful of clients time. Overall a good experience . I have no complaints

I visited this practice to fix several issues I have in my teeth sometime around June/July 2022.

The first visit for my routine yearly checkup and comprehensive treatment plan went well. To fix one of the several issues, to get the appointment, I was asked to pay around $2000 in advance, which I paid and received the treatment. I asked why I need to pay in advance, why don't they charge my dental insurance companies. They said, they will file claims, once they receive the payments, I will get the refund. I agreed and went ahead with the treatment. At the end of the treatment, I wanted to fix my second issue in my teeth. For that, again I was asked to pay $2400 to get the appointment. Since my credit card didn't have enough credit, I told I would call and fix the appointment once I have enough credit.

After a couple of weeks, I got a call from them saying, I have around $1200 credit, and have an appointment on a particular day, which tooth you want to go next. It was a surprise to me, because I did not ask for any appointment around the date they mentioned, and the credit amount should be around $2000 instead of $1200. I got little suspicious, because both of my insurance companies processed their claims (I got letters from my insurance companies directly to me). So I asked my account statement, which they emailed to me. In the statement I found that $799 was deducted from my account with no explanation. When I asked why they booked the appointment without my consent, and also asked about why they deducted $799. There was no clear explanation. Since I suspected something fishy is going on, I asked them to cancel the appointment which they booked without my knowledge or consent asked to explain how can they book an appointment on their own. They told they would get back to me after talking to their regional manager. Till now (8 Oct 2022), I did not get any explanation why did they book the appointment without my knowledge and why they deducted $799.

In the meantime, I filed a complaint with NC Insurance regulations department about this issue and spoke to an agent. Now they acknowledged that the deduction of $799 was a mistake from their side, it will be credited back once they receive payments from the one of my insurance companies which they say they haven't received yet.

Really I am wondering when they were ready to give further treatments without receiving actual payments, but now when I asked the money back, they say they haven't received the money from insurance companies yet. Now they said they give return the money only after receiving the payment from insurance companies. Those pending claim's/payments are not related to my treatment, those are belong to my wife's treatment. They say they maintain one common account for entire family. I see really something going on which I fail to understand as a layman.

Long story short, I don't have any issues with the treatment I received from them. But I am really concerned about their account management practices and handling customers money.

I will update this review depending on how they are going to handle this situation.

Due to their suspicious activities, I suggest others, please be careful and check the bills, account activities and ask for explanations.

Fresh Dental is a happy place with happy people who love their job and it shows. I've never been to a dentist before that is so caring like Dr Rupani, she is a sweetheart. Everyone that works there was a joy to deal with. And when my Dental work was completed I was sorry to say goodbye. They deserve way more then 5 stars.

They offer a great and professional experience everytime I visit.
Staff is very friendly and punctual about keeping up with me and my upcoming appointments. Staff is also very informational if you need help with other dental insurance options.
It is always a good encounter whenever I need dental treatment.

On Friday -Nov 17, 2022 I drove from Ballentyne to my original appointment. When I arrived the young lady stated that my appointment had been cancelled, by whom I haven’t a clue, because I didn’t cancel it. She then stated I could come back at 3:00pm, which I declined to drive back out when I was already standing there. I then scheduled another appointment for Monday - November 21, 2022 @ 11:00am. I called early Monday morning to reschedule my appointment because of a family emergency due to my mother being ill and the young girl (African American) had the rudest attitude over the phone and immediately states that I would have to pay a $50.00 cancel fee. You would think she would have asked why I needed to reschedule and waive the fee so I could take care of my mother. I did however make the appointment and the individuals in your front desk office could use some customer service training, especially the African American girl with the wrap around her head. This was one of the worst experiences I have had regarding a dental appointment, all due to how things are handled by your front office staff.

Very personable staff. Everyone was friendly, courteous, and welcoming. I'm actually looking forward to my next appointment.

Outside of Fresh Dental, I’ve only been to one other dentist my entire life. It was time to find another after moving from my hometown. From my initial call to the office, my first visit and on..this place has been amazing. Dr. Rupani is so personable, clear and nice at every encounter— she’s the best! Erica, Gabby and Elena are just as awesome. I’ve even received a follow-up call to check in after a dental procedure which says a lot! I am so happy I chose this office to take over my dental care. They show that they not only care about their jobs, but the people they are caring for while doing it.
