Updated review.
Had to go back after wisdom extraction for dry socket treatment and was fine for 2 weeks until the same pain as dry socket pain had started just 3 days prior to today except 10 times worse then the first time I was treated for dry socket. Well 2 days ago I had my boyfriend call because I was crying in pain to try to get me an appointment to get the socket checked and he was told it would cost $40 to examine another area which makes no sense so they set an appointment for 1pm well since I am having financial problems at this time I did not go did not have the funds. So next day my mother called for me and they told her that he was never told that it would be $40 when me myself heard them tell him that. So me crying in excruciating pain (reason for having others call for me I had icepack on my jaw and could not open my mouth) they told my mother for me to come today Monday Sept 27th at 930am. Which I did come! Get home get a call from whoever is over their dentist office and was asked why I did not come to my appointment today when I did come to my appointment! Like get it together people! Then not only that but was told both times that my boyfriend and mother called it was only asking for pain medication when NO ONE EVER ASKED FOR ANY PAIN MEDICATION they called to make me an appointment because I am still having problems with this extraction. So Now telling me I should seek second opinion?! Oh and forgot to tell them that the tooth that is next to the one that was extracted has a crack in it that I think happened when the dentist extracted the one beside of it! Maybe that's where my pain is coming from. I don't know but I have never had a good experience here. Only good dentist that was there is now gone. And only one dentist is at that office. They don't care point blank! I told her I put orajel in the hole where the tooth was extracted and she just said it was healed well this pain is a lot different then toothache pain I know toothache pain. I am not seeking drugs I am seeking relief but they assume I want drugs if I wanted drugs they are every where I don't even like taking tylenol or ibuprofen. So this upset me. I will get a second opinion else where if I can come up with the funds but I feel I should NOT have to since this is where I had my extraction that's the only reason I went back there really didn't have a choice! They will tell one person one thing and another person another thing then lie and say they did not say it. Very wishy washy staff. Only person I noticed with bedside manners is the hygienist! I am tired of being mistreated when I have paid full price out of pocket for everything I've ever had done there. No wonder they only have ONE dentist No one else want's to work there! Don't apologize to me apologize to your next patients that are going to get the same treatment as I did if not worse.
Had a bad toothache so had my mom call to schedule my appointment and told her to ask if they give pain medication after extractions and was told yes. Went today for my right top wisdom extraction and sent home with ibuprofen 800mg that has not helped me one bit!! Have even taken tylenol with it and pain is sharp shooting up the entire side of my jaw and face on the right side. So had my mother call and let them know that I was in pain was told to go to the emergency room. Ok so I pay all this money for extraction and have no dental insurance so what makes you think I have medical insurance?? I don't and can not afford another hospital bill because your dental office doesn't want to treat their patients after procedures!! Will not be back here again and will be calling main office and letting them know and will not recommend anyone to ever go anywhere for extractions that don't supply a pain medication the pain is terrible!! Very upset that I will be suffering all weekend like this! They do not care it's not their mouth hurting!!

I want to add to my initial review that....
Since that posting I have received my four, very lovely, permanent front teeth from Dr. Masoomi. The crowns have stayed securely in place which is allowing my gums time to heal. I have my smile finally and I am very pleased.
Dr. Masoomi has an excellent chair side manner and she is a wonderful dentist. She offered a few options to remedy this situation, she was even willing to send me to another office that does strictly cosmetic work. Maybe that is what should have happened from the beginning, (hindsight) however I told Dr. Masoomi I started with her and I wanted to finish it with her if that was an option. I left the office that morning with a beautiful smile and a starting place for rebuilding the trusting relationship I had with DOC before this last incident.
I hope to continue a relationship with DOC and Dr. Masoomi. She is attempting to navigate the issues I had initially addressed, the biggest one was four permanent front teeth which I have now. THANK YOU.
To Dr. Masoomi's credit (actually all the staff at the Kannapolis location), I don't want to look for another dentist. I remain hopeful for a complete resolution.
I have been a patient for years and I really like the staff. However I have been waiting on permanent front teeth for almost 7 months. Not only did I pay for everything in full in April but my insurance was billed for the same $3000.00+. They actually called and cancelled my appointment for more dental work because I had maxed out my insurance. Seriously. They had $1000.00 but I guess they didn't know I knew that they had double dipped. I just last week (6 +months later) got a little over half of it mailed to me after having to get ugly. 7 months and I still have 4 temporaries in the front of my mouth. I had straight pretty teeth before just very translucent. Double billed. My gums are sore and raw and swollen because they ground down so so much of my natural teeth that the temporaries won't hold and so, since I cant go to the dentist everyday to have them put back in place they rub and slip
Try talking to a patient or a physician professionally and having your four front teeth fly out of your mouth, over and over again.
I did have 3 beautiful permanents put in back over the summer. The 4th was cemented in crooked. Of course lab was blamed, no! Not hardly. So....instead of just fixing the one put in crooked they cut all 4 four out and ground away more and my original teeth. I have been blamed for these temporaries not holding, again not hardly. They pop loose within hours of being glued in
Now I think I need root canals because these tiny nubs have not been protected for almost 7 months and they started hurting last night. I imagine it will take an attorney to get them to do all the work to make my mouth whole again.
Oh and they have changed labs so I am not even getting the crowns and veneers I originally paid for.
So....you want a cleaning? Have at it. To their credit I have never had problems with them before this but I also have only had basic work done.
Please!!! BEWARE!!!! 7 months. WRONG WRONG WRONG!!!!

We LOVE our dental family. DeeDee and Dr Mesoomi take such good care of our entire family. My youngest is almost 4 and has been visiting since his 2nd birthday. It is so wonderful when your kids enjoy going to the dentist despite cavities because the atmosphere is welcoming and calm. The staff is friendly, kind, and explains everything that is happening. We are thankful for Dentistry of the Carolina Kannapolis.

This is the worst expierence I've ever had. first they tell me I have to pay 65 to 75 estimate for my extraction. When I get there they tell me they have to remove 2 doubling the cost . Then they failed to tell me they don't give pain medication needless to say I had to pay even more for a emergency room visit DO NOT use this dentist office they suck!!!!
