Dental depot has definitely changed. I had an appointment on Friday. My appointment was at 12:30 at 1 o’clock. No one had seen me however a woman with her two children came in 15 minutes after my appointment told the receptionist she had just confirm that appointment that morning. She forgot to confirm previously and want to know if her boys could still be seen. The reception said I’m not sure we will probably have to reschedule your appointment went to the back to confirm that, and came back and was told they could be seen. The time was at 12:40, 10 minutes after my appointment.time. add 1245 this lady and her two boys were called back to be seen. I, at this point go to the front desk and ask what the delay was for me, and why they were seen before me. And the receptionist said I will find out, she came back and said they’re on their way to get you to be seen at 1 o’clock. No one still had came and said anything else to me. At 1:01.I approached the receptionist and advised her to cancel my appointment. The receptionist said, someone was on their way to get me at 12:45. I’m not sure what happened. I made the decision to be done with dental depot. I have no problem with the boys been seeing the problem I have is the way dental depot handles their customers I will no longer be a patient .I’ve already found me another dentist.

I have been going here for years and I’ve never had the staff be so rough with my mouth/teeth until now. They were complaining that they were busy and behind so I’m thinking they were trying to rush me out. The first person that went back with me was not good at communicating (not speaking at all) but was pushing my face around as she brushed my teeth very rough. I almost said something but I could tell she was irritated when she walked in. Then she started yelling for Madison to come in and finish my cleaning. She yelled a couple of times before Madison showed up and I could tell she was irritated as well. When Madison started using her tools in my mouth she kept poking my gums and mouth in places that shouldn’t have been poked (not near my teeth) and then told me my gums were bleeding. I told her she poked me several times extremely hard and deep and I believe that’s why my mouth was bleeding but she merely said “no I didn’t.” Then she made me hold a mirror to my face like a child to demonstrate flossing. I have never had problems with flossing in the past and have great teeth; I felt as if she was trying to justify why my mouth was bleeding so much. Hopefully this was just a bad day for them and isn’t turning into the norm.

Dr Olya and the ladies at the south location are awesome! They have always taken good care of me.

Update: They still do an awesome job. I drive from Catoosa to the South Tulsa, just because of the excellent customer service.

I would recommend this Dental Depot on S Memorial, in Tulsa, to anyone. There was no long wait, in fact I didn't wait at all, and I was seen as a walk in new patient. The staff was great, and every other word was to ask if I was doing okay and to assure me how well I was doing. I had two teeth extracted. Dr Thoma was great.. The canter among the staff was fun and made me feel very at ease.

NOT A DENTISTRY FOR THE UNINSURED. I’ve never been to a place that is so money hungry run as a fast food establishment. This place is more about making money than being compassionate and considerate. I’m grateful for the speedy pain relief, but the financial requirements made my pocket hurt. I was told I had to pay at the time $877.50 (that’s half year’s of my pay) due at each visit and I needed 4 visits. I asked for help, the dentist suggested pulling out my teeth. I went in with just one tooth problem, but the dentist said the tooth next to it also needed work. I exclusively said to just work on the one with issues but he went ahead and started on the second one. Now I have 2 temporary fillings (which was not done by the dentist and has partially broken off) and left with a $540 bill. I felt the dentist is a charlatan who took advantage of the pain I was in. I’m thankful for my mother and my kids savings to help me through the first visit, I pray both my teeth don’t hurt while I save to fix both teeth. Definitely not a honest place to go if your your in pain, uninsured, or wanting to save your teeth. BE CAREFUL!!!!!

The other dental depots were good but they gave me x-rays twice and different dentist told me different things.

I’ve had a lot of dental work in the last year I’ve been here several times. I can’t thank them enough for the beautiful smile I have. Everyone from the front desk to the dentist are extremely nice and helpful. I highly recommend Dental Depot on Memorial.
