I don’t like giving negative reviews but I have to be honest. I feel like Willamette dental is fine for teeth cleaning and check ups, but not for the real issues. Unless it’s something super easy to find they have a hard time diagnosing .

I declined the "deep" cleaning (under the gum) because I am moving out of the country and can't do 2 to 4 visits. So they denied me of a "regular" cleaning (one visit). So are my teeth better off not being cleaned at all?

I'm very grate for Dr. Liu. I haven't been to the dentist in a couple decades and very fearful of mouth injections/extremely sensitive in the mouth area. Not only did she give me lots of information on every aspect of the procedure, but she didn't make me feel bad for being a total wimp about pain. An extremely kind individual who treated me with care and respect. I am looking forward to getting the rest of my mouth taken care of. Had a tooth removed today and I was so worried about it and it wasn't so bad at all. I gave her a bit of a hard time about the numbing injections but she convinced me I needed them and she was oh, so right. I'm really grateful for this lovely doctor and her staff.

Had insurance but somehow this office decided to bill the wrong insurance never sent paperwork to the right insurance and now I am being sued for it. Instead of trying to work with me. Not to mention the staff was always short with me and I never had a good vibe about the place. Never again!!!!

I’ve been going to Willamette Dental for years. This was my first time visiting the Milwaukie office and as much as I am terrified of dentists, I felt comfortable and wasn’t as nervous as I usually am when I go. My dentist listened and was friendly. I wish I lived closer to this location so it could be my home office.

Dr Kane is so gentle, patient, understanding, etc. I am almost 30 and was terrified to start my dental health journey, but I am so thankful to have found dr Kane to help me through this time. His staff in the office are amazing, I’m always comfortable when I sit and wait for the doctor, he explains everything, so there are no surprises. I highly recommend seeing Dr Kane, I will continue to see him as long as I can, thank you again!!! ❤️

The room was very unorganized when I walked in to get two cavity’s filled, the assistant seemed to be inexperienced and confused, this wasn’t an issue, everyone was new at some point. The dentist himself was visibly frustrated at the assistant which was very nerve racking having someone ticked off with a dremel tool in my mouth. The bite guard was too large and was forced into my mouth, I haven’t been able to properly open my mouth to eat without pain since the appointment this morning, it has been around 12 hours. The rest of the staff and the assistant were very polite professional people, no hard feelings to anyone we all have bad days but that was genuinely nerve racking.

So I called to be looked at for a broken tooth. they wanted to make it a whole new patient exam cleanin(whatever it's on insurance ) barley 10mins late and the receptionist was very dismissive, rude and chose to not want to make time to even see the tooth ? what sense does that make now this could have been a dental emergency or will be in time !
I had never experienced this lack of care or professional care in the years I was with Dr.Mcdowell family dentistry I wish my current insurance carried them still

10/10 recommend!! Front desk staff are so friendly, and are so great at finding a day and time to work best with my busy schedule!! I was nervous for my dental shot; AJ the Anesthesiologist, did an amazing job and made it feel like a Breeze, super professional and kind! Julia the dentist assistant always makes me feel super welcomed, and is super fantastic at her job as well as great costumer service!!! Dr. Cheng, super professional and excellent at what he does!! He is always so great at explaining the procedures he is doing, as well as answers any questions I may have! The Facility is always clean, and organized! All the staff take all necessary precautions during covid!! Can’t recommend them enough!!
