We had a little snafu in communication initially and it seems mostly related to their answering service but once I got to the actual dentist and staff they were wonderful. Have only had my initial visit but it went very well and seems and feels like a place I will be more than happy to get my dental care for the long term.

Super professional, SUPER friendly! They make you so comfortable and really care about you! Dr. Hoveida was really quick and made sure you were okay and knew what was going on. JT (I think his name was) was absolutely AMAZING! He made me comfortable and super calm! I need him to go with me to all of my appointments! He seriously felt like he’s been my best friend my whole life 🤣 the rest of the staff is great too - I just needed to brag a lot on JT!

I’m not scared of many things in my life but going to the dentist is probably top on MY list. I haven’t been it YEARS due to the terrible anxiety I have over having to go. 🙅🏼♀️
I kept asking myself “Are they going to judge me bc I haven’t been in so long?” “Are they going to find thousands of dollars worth of issues with my teeth that I’m going to have to end up paying for?! 🤷🏼♀️ I didn’t even sleep last night....

I finally bit the bullet and made an appointment at Electric City Dental since it’s super close to where I live.
I walk in and EVERYONE is BEYOND friendly. They let me know immediately that I was in a safe, kind, no judgement zone. They walked me through every procedure they needed to do slowly and calmly.
When Amanda (the Hygienist) looked at my teeth, at first, she thought that I would need several visits to get them back in shape but after checking my gums and my bone health, she was shocked at the great condition they are still in! 😮 She worked fast, calm and efficient while cleaning my teeth.
Then Hamid Hoveida, DDS (Dentist) comes in the room. He was friendly and I could tell extremely smart. Very down to earth fella. I really liked him. He said I have no cavities or major issues. I about fell out of the chair in shock! I haven’t been to a dentist in probably 10+ years and I just knew the prognosis was going to be bad. I even told my boyfriend I probably wouldn’t get out without them telling me I needed about 5k in dental work.
But nope, I go back one more time in a month to have another cleaning and I’m good to go. 👍🏼 They are also making my second visit super cheap since I’m paying cash.

They do NOT take payments but they work with you anyway they can with cost and give a discount to cash paying clients.

My visit was a pleasant one. The hygienist really took good care of me. Everything from a procedure standpoint was prompt and well done. She also took time to perk me up by talking to me so I can feel more comfortable with my cleaning. At the end, the receptionist thoroughly went over my impending treatment so that I understand completely what will take place at that time. Overall I was well pleased with my experience.
