I had just moved to the Dickson area and needed a new dentist. I chose Aspen Dental after researching local dentists. When I called to make my appointment I stated several times I have 2 insurances and if that will be a problem and kept getting told no. I gave my insurance information to 3 different people because no one apparently wrote it down in my file before my visit. I show up to my visit and the business manager charges me for services covered under my plan and wouldn't listen to me when I tried telling her this. The hygienist was incredibly rough on my and my daughter's mouths during our cleaning. I had to come back for a filling and 6 months later I could still feel the material where it wasn't properly fitted. Also 6 months later I'm still receiving bills from them that I shouldn't be getting because they don't know how to handle my insurance or they are trying to overcharge me, not sure which. I tried 3 times to go to the office to correct this billing issue and 3 times they didn't want to help me. They kept putting it off on the billing department and the third time the business manager finally came out after I wasn't granted to speak to her my first two visits. She was rude to me and wouldn't listen to anything I was trying to tell her. Everything I would say to her she would just keep pointing to the printed statement and telling me my insurance hasn't paid. I was holding my EOBs in my hand showing they had paid but she wouldn't not listen. I was told differing information by her and the original lady who wanted to help me which shows they were putting me off to not want to assist in solving my problem. I will never be back here for service again.

I was very pleased with my cleaning and the dental work, filling and a crown. The dentist that did the filling and the crown was great. He had a trick that allowed him to give me the shot and it really didn't hurt. I had never had that before. My issue with Aspen was that I had an hour wait between the cleaning and the dental work. That was way too long to wait.

I went to get a tooth pulled because i had a very bad cavity. They told me i needed A root canal on my lower left back molars.Thinking hey their dentist so they know what they're talking about. I was like okay.. but the filling popped out. now I have four holes in my teeth. My left side of my back molars are completely exposed and they hurt so bad. I'm fixing to just pull them out myself. They charged me almost $8,000..needless to say i will not be back.ive never had problems with my teeth until now..

Dr.Alison and staff were great. No waiting. Very thorough, eager to answer all questions. Did a cleaning same day. Expensive though. 460.00 for cleaning I thought was pricey but she earned it. I guess. Will get second estimate on treatment plan. Which came up to 12 grand btw, including invisalign, top and bottom.

First time visit for unexpected very painful toothache, luckily had opening next day.
Shelby was very patient and polite and during xrays. She got another staff member to help do some retakes as I am gagging with the placement bars in my mouth, so did the x-ray with hand held much quicker.
Susan, the office personnel, was absolutely wonderful and patient with me.
As being in pain, I was not the best patient and did apologize. I do look forward to getting further care for myself at Aspen Dental.

Made an appointment a month ago for my son. We go in today, 15 minutes early with paperwork completed. The receptionist says, "Your appointment has been cancelled for whatever reason." I have a screenshot of the text that I had received from them to confirm appointment, which I did and they responded, "thank you for your confirmation". I will not go back, ever, and I will tell as many people about it as possible. I'd do the same if it was a good experience.

We went in to have his teeth checked and were given multiple quotes for pulling and dentures. After talking it over, we decided to have them pulled and return at a late time for dentures-the price was pretty up there. They insisted on payment in full before services rendered, so we did half that day and the rest the morning of the appointment.
They removed 31 teeth and told us to come back to get the last one pulled in a month, I needed surgery. February 15th it snowed. We left early from our place an hour away to make sure we would be on time. No one showed up. No phones answered. For a couple days, no one answered. I called repeatedly over the next few weeks and left a handful of messages. Awesome voicemail by the way, repeating the office hours over three times during office hours and randomly cutting off the voicemail with a hang up. Real nice.
I get a callback about two weeks ago after I left a rude message, to an apology and a "we've been trying to reach you but no one picks up". We have no missed calls of course, but they squeeze us in for an appointment on March 18th. I get a call today while I'm readying the car for the trip-cancelled. She'll call me back if they can reschedule.
I end up calling both numbers back, and reschedule next month with their office... So we'll see. If the appointment actually goes through, I'll change the review.
I'm just shocked no one called to cancel the first time or awknowledge the missed appointment until I kept calling and leaving messages. I get I already prepaid for services, but for Pete's sake, he can't close his jaw with that one tooth back there. Can't really chew either. I can't wait until this nonsense is over and we can get him dentures. Depending, we are already looking elsewhere for services.
Update: They were able to take him for the April appointment. When they contacted us the morning of, we were asked to come in early. The assistant on the phone told us the same thing we heard for each cancellation, that they had been "calling for days and reached no one" while neither of us had any missed calls. Anywho, he was in and out quickly, and the final tooth is gone. Thank you.

Everyone was very professional and friendly. I am usually very anxious when at the dentist but I was very comfortable here.

I sat in the room for an entire hour before even being talked to. I waited 3 hours here and all they did was a few x rays! They said that because my appointment time was already half way over that I'd need to schedule another day to do what I came there for that day. It was a complete waste of time. I've been to them several times and not once have that had any urgency about them. Dont go there unless you're ok with being stuck there all day
