I've only had 1 dentist all of my life. I recently moved out of town and after reading the amazing reviews on this location I decided to give them a chance. This dentist office accepted me with welcome arms while I was in excruciating pain. Ran into a little problem with my insurance and they still remained calm and helped me. With my dentist anxiety being as bad as it is , they were very supportive and gave me a blanket to make me a little more comfortable. Performance on my extraction was OUTSTANDING!! They were extremely gentle and caring which made my anxiety slowly go away. Every staff from the front of the house to the back of the house was AMAZING!!! I would definitely recommend this dentist to ANYONE in the area. They are the best!! ❤

Dr. Whinery is the BEST! So happy with my new smile. I have spent a lot of time here over the last 6 months (I needed a lot of dental work) and the staff is always so friendly and accommodating. The evening and weekend availability is prefect for my busy schedule. I get all my dental work done on the weekends so I don't have to miss any work.

Great Customer Service, I had a super early dentist appointment. I thought I would get my usual dental hygienist. Instead, I had Denise and she was very thorough & informative about health of your teeth. The dentist Dr. J is excellent always answering questions and treats every patient like he truly care about your teeth.

A coworker recommended this dentist and I'm so glad she did! The staff is so friendly and easy to talk to, especially Silvia at the front desk! I had a crown and root canal and it was virtually painless! I've had one done before at a different dentist and remember being in a lot of pain afterwards, not this time! Thank you Dr. J and staff! I will definitely be reccomending your office to my friends and family!

I never write reviews, but these guys deserve one. The dental work was great and painless. I had 2 root canals and about 4 or 5 crowns put in. That on top of 5 cavities I had filled. A lot of work. It was all done in a timely manner at each appointment and there was no pain for any of the procedures. I am completely satisfied with my crowns and fillings! I forget that they're there cause they look exactly like my actual teeth! The point is that the doctors on staff are great, and I'm not even to the best part.

No one likes dealing with the billing and insurance portion of any doctors visit. However, the ladies (never got a male on the phone) on the other end of the customer service accounting line are by far the best people I have ever worked with in regards to getting my insurance and payments worked out. They answer almost every time you call and they are the absolute sweetest every time. If they don't answer they are sure to call you back the same day. No joke there was a few days in a row I was calling them probably 10 times a day. They took soooooooo much time out of their day(s) to just spend time on me and work with me until all of my questions were answered and my mind was at ease with my balance/billing. Who does that nowadays? These boss ladies do, that's who!

So if you're looking for awesome dental work and an accounting/billing department that actually has your back, then definitely choose these guys!

From walking in to leaving my appointment to be greeted with a smile and to be listened to by the Dr ...ive never felt rushed I always feel comfortable talking to any Dr that treats me. I feel like family every time I go. Thank you for staffing with the most kind loving and caring individuals. This includes the front desk staff to the Dr's themselves. Outstanding as always

Unfortunately I am not one to ever go out of my way but I felt that this was necessary.

I’ve gone to this dentistry for the past few years. I’ve slowly noticed after coming in for regular clean ups the wait times are even longer and I can’t get in and out for a clean up in less than 2 hours. My most recent visit I was told that I would need an advanced cleaning and unless I selected that treatment they would not preform any work (After waiting already 45 minutes) Keep in mind the advanced cleaning treatment was an additional almost $200. I simply asked for the standard cleaning and was denied. Frustrated I told them I would not be getting any services as I wanted a second opinion. On my way out they even tried to push me on getting an advanced mouthwash that I could buy from them right there.
Today I visited another office who informed me my teeth and gums are perfectly healthy and there is no need for advanced treatment. I will not be returning to North Tarrant Dental as it seems that they are only focused on upselling their clients rather than honesty.

UPDATED: Still absolutely love this dentist office! My 3 yr old son had a “happy” visit today after my cleaning & they did awesome! He even let them clean his teeth & wasn’t scared at all! I’ve had Dr. Whinery the past 2 times & she’s awesome! Totally recommend still!

North tarrant dental is amazing! My grandma, mother & I all use Dr. Cory! I can not say enough nice things about the entire staff! Everyone is very friendly & makes you feel very comfortable! Highly recommend!

The dentist was great! Office staff ruined it. They really seem lost and didn't know what they are doing.

Update 5/2021: Would give negative stars if possible! I tried to leave a somewhat positive review last time and didn't want to shine too big of a light on the office staff because we all have bad days, but this is way beyond 1 bad day now! Been waiting over 18 months for a call back from the manager. I have been calling almost monthly about a credit on my account that they owe us for services on my daughter and myself. Almost every time I am told that the office manager is out and will call me back. The last time I spoke with them I was told my check would be mailed to me....3 months later I am still waiting.

The reason for the credit/refund owed to me is because they demanded that I pre-pay for treatments that my insurance pays for AND also for services that were not done (and later found out that were not needed). Was told my daughter had several cavities but then when we went to another dentist those cavities mysteriously were gone.

My next call most likely will be to the Better Business Bureau and State Dental Board. Tired of waiting on the office manager to return my calls and it's about time they give me the money owed!

AVOID this place at all cost! There are way too many other Dental options in the area to waste your time and money here!

Always great. I initially came in to reschedule an appointment. The receptionist was kind enough to suggest getting me in at that very moment vice rescheduling for a later date. I took her up on the offer. I was very impressed that they were willing to work their schedule for me. The session went well and I was very pleased with the service. Please pass on a Job We'll Done to the entire staff for their outstanding Customer Service and Professional Courtesy.
