I arrived to my appointment 15 minutes early, sign in and waited for 1hr 1/2 to end up not getting serviced. The establishment is extremely unprofessional and unkept. I do not recommend this location to be serviced.

I had a 7:00AM appointment. My cleaning was done before 7:30 and the doctor was absent when I chose to leave at 8:10AM. They book appointments more than an hour before there is a single dentist in the building! I wasted 40 minutes waiting and never got to see a dentist— so disrespectful to patients.

Staff is great and friendly. However I’ve had a total of 3 fillings fall out from the doctor at this location. 2 of them is from the same spot and had to repay to get the third one fixed. Very disappointing.

I can't imagine a worse, more unprofessional experience as a patient.

I am self-employed, so am paying out of pocket. They immediately (like the second I walked in the door) insisted that I purchase some shady dental coverage policy under the guise that it would save me money. Which, unfortunately, I did. I trusted them.

Based on a few x-rays (which come to find via a dentist I went to college with) - [ask them for your x-rays upon leaving so you can share them with people you trust] show perfectly healthy teeth.

They shared with me VERY bad news about my oral health. I was told I had advanced periodontal disease, unhealthy gums, and there was even an implication that I might have mouth cancer!

After delivering that very troubling news, these "professionals" left me in the chair by myself for over an hour before delivering me an INVOICE to sign for a "treatment plan" that soared over $2,000 - with little to no explanation of what would be done. It wasn't even a dentist who was explaining the treatment plan! It was an office administrator who knew nothing about dentistry! And then they came back an haggled with me on price! Very professional, right?

I asked them if they could perform the routine cleaning included in the insurance they sold me, and they refused that treatment under the guise that it would do not good, despite the fact that they told me the best way to combat any progression was maintenance!(?) Evidently not there's?

They are a profit first, patient last, doc in a box chain across the street from a Wal-Mart.

Avoid at all costs.

They worked fast and in time even tho it was my first time there. Had good costumer service and was professional.

BLVD was so nice and accommodating. They worked me in last minute and made sure my procedure ran on time. The staff and oral surgeon were so nice and answered all of my questions. I have Dentist Anxiety but I felt so calm and put at ease while I was there.

BLVD is highly professional following all safe practices with skilled and cheerful employees. I had to switch to this location when I needed my rear molar extraction two years ago. I never looked back.
They accepted my insurance coverage, took care of billing, have a new and clean facility, and state of the art equipment. Plus, it's just over a mile from my house! I don't have to drive downtown, pay for parking, walk for 15 minutes through tunnels and escalators, or any of the other hassles.

They were a little pricey but the office had up-to-date equipment along with a well trained staff

LC AdoptaDog

Their hygienists do not follow basic hygienic practices. They touch all kinds of things that are not sterile and then try to touch sterile items with dirty gloves. This location also doesn't believe in the Covid Vaccination for its employees.

I was initially really excited about the staff and DDS at BLVD Dentistry when I first went a week ago. They found something that needed to be addressed with a previous IPR that was done but not fully completed. My orthodontist lives in San Antonio and I live in Houston now. I made an appt with BLVD specifically to help address the small issue they found but after being there for an hour and visiting with the orthodontist there I was told they would not be addressing the problem. The only reason they would not do it is because I was not committing to changing my orthodontist from my existing one to them. If I would have agreed to switch they would have taken care of me but I didn’t find it necessary to switch my ortho mid treatment so they left me with nothing. They didn’t have a care in the world and showed zero empathy or compassion. If they knew they wouldn’t want to help me unless I switched they should have told me at the last appt or on the phone call when I made todays appt. I feel at the end of the day the staff, dentist and ortho came together and decided treating me was not beneficial to them in the long run. Even though I had every intention on becoming a dental patient but because I would not switch my ortho they would rather see me drive 3 hours to get a 2 minute procedure done. I’m not saying they are bad people but I would be very careful in your selection. Not all dentists and orthos have a patient first mindset. They seem to be more about the bottom dollar vs patient care and that was very disappointing to find out. Hope this helps someone out there from experiencing BLVD Dentisry in the future.
