Atascocita Modern Dentistry and Orthodontics

WORST DENTAL CARE! We had Dr. Chahal do my crown and my husband’s dentures. Both services were poorly done! My crown looks like has some cement that is too white on top of the crown and make it look like I have food particles that is stuck on top of my tooth. Told Dr. Chahal about it and came back 2 times, she did some work but it still looks the same. She keeps on saying it’s not there anymore but I can tell there’s still more! Just a waste of time so I stopped coming back to get it fixed. She also did the impression of my husband’s dentures and had to do it twice. First she said it was lost in transit and had to do another one. When the dentures came, they were too big that they can’t be used (both upper and lower)! We kept on coming back 2-3 times for them to re-line and they keep on saying it’s good enough even we are saying it’s too loose. We eventually got tired coming back as it is such a waste of time and waste a lot of money! My crown was $2K, my husband’s dentures was $5K co-pay only to have poorly done services. Save your time and money, go somewhere else if you can!

We love Dr. Khan for my kid's dentist, and so far have been happy with Dr. Tanjaya as our orthodontist. However, I've been asking about issues with ortho billing for almost a year now, and have yet to get a resolution. Not to mention, it is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of them on the phone. I have spent countless lunch breaks waiting on hold only to either be hung up on, or have to hang up myself to return to work. Will be consulting other orthodontists for my son's treatment due to the lack of administrative communication.

Edit: I love that I spent 30 minutes on hold this morning only to be hung up on, but you have the time to reply to my google review the same day. Please, have someone answer the phone! SMH

Worst place ever!!! They do not follow up when your cleaning is due. Most likely when you do come back they will upcharge you for gingivitis or periodontic cleaning. Had my daughters braces placed on here...they took 18mos to do a cleaning, and only because I asked. Then scheduled appt from 10-11, but between wait times, upselling, financing..we had to come back after their LUNCH so 1 .Another lady in the waiting room said she waited an hr from her appt time. Might as well take the whole day off from school and work.

They have ALWAYS taken great care of me and my family. I recommend them to anyone who needs dental work.

Tyler in oral surgery took great care of me..So did Dr Muniz. The rest of the staff could use some work. The process of trying to set up my appointment was a hassle and getting in touch with the details of how everything will go prior to my oral surgery appointment was nearly impossible and somewhat frustrating. The front office staff could use some work on that for sure. Overall, I was pleased with my oral surgeon and the removal of my wisdom teeth. The surgery was quick and painless. They gave me some magic meds and I felt nothing! I am on day 2 of my recovery and so far all is going well. Tyler gave my partner and I some great after care instructions and I am grateful for how informative he was from start to finish. He and Dr. Muniz are the only reason you all are getting these five stars 😉

This place went seriously downhill both in care and customer service since I first began going. They "fixed" a cavity with an inlay that fell out in a year. I went back to get it fixed and they said the piece was fine to put back in. It wasn't- the inlay fell back out about a week later while I was brushing my teeth! I went elsewhere to get it fixed, which meant extra time and paying to redo xrays, etc. The inlay had always felt sensitive even chewing soft foods (I told them and they said I just needed my bite adjusted and grinded it down) but the filling from the new dentist feels comfortable.
Atascocita Modern Dental always seemed to be concerned about teeth staining and whitening my teeth but they never indicated that they had other concerns about my dental health. My new dentist has noted that my gums are showing advanced receding and that I need to address. I feel like Atascocita Modern Dental has a revolving door of fresh out of school dentists who whisk you in and out as fast as they can and do a poor job..
I also had problems with billing on several occasions. I switched insurance plans and even after notifying them of the change and providing copies of my new card, they kept billing to the old plan, which of course got denied. They used a third party to handle their billing so noone at the office was able to help and I spent hours on the phone getting things straightened out.
Edited to add: I did call this office twice during business hours. I didn't get a human on the line. Their automated system said "someone will be reaching out to you shortly" and I received no call back.

Truly rip people off!!! I had 3 wisdom teeth pulled agreed to price and right before I was put to sleep they tried to jack the price up…. And Also pain is crazy insane so to even get a refill for pain meds they can’t help me because there oral surgeons are contacted!!!!

Always a good experience, I’m really happy with my dental hygienist Casey, very nice and makes you feel very comfortable.

Best dentist I have ever been to. I have been going here for a little over 2 years and I have 0 complaints only praises for this place.

Doctors and hygienists are awesome. However, the front desk staff and billing is awful. They DO NOT call and confirm appointments. They DO NOT answer the phones all the time. They WILL bill you multiple times for the same services. I’ve been going here for about 3 years, I keep going because I love the actual dentist. It’s just TOO DIFFICULT to deal with appointments/billing/front desk. Will be finding a new dentist for me and my family.
