This was a very painful experience having a wisdom tooth pulled 😫, Before this I had a bad experience with the temporary bridge being loaded with cement and put into my mouth by a inexperienced hygienist , not a good week.

Last time I sent my child here at My Kids Dentist I did not like the dental assistant as she did a very poor job. I asked the front desk that when I come next time for my kids appointment I need a different hygienist and sure enough still the same. Not giving any more chances . Going somewhere else

Clean office, easy to get to off of 1960, always seen at my scheduled appointment time without a wait. Lana Hughes does a great job cleaning my teeth and taking my x-rays, making sure I'm comfortable and understand my dental health.

Overall the dental experience and medical care provided is satisfactory. My complaint is the front office personnel, namely Ben and an unknown female whom I only spoke to on the phone. Background: I have had routine dental care here for about 4 years, foregoing the last couple cleanings and checkups due to Covid. I don’t have any oral hygiene problems.

On January 5, I called and made an early morning appointment (7am) for January 19th with a female staff member via phone. I updated my insurance, and she confirmed my appointment time. No issues.

Appointment comes, I arrive at 6:54am, and am the first person in the door. I was not screened in any way for Covid. No health questions, no temp check, nada. I proceed to the counter and check in, and am informed by Mr Ben, that I don’t have an appointment... I was puzzled and showed him the screenshot of my phone conversation with the female staffer 2 weeks prior. He still stuck firm, I have no appointment. Basically “sorry about your bad luck” attitude. Unfortunately I pushed on and explained that I even updated my insurance (providing the female on the phone sensitive personal information like social, DOB, etc). He checked the computer, and said “yes it shows here your insurance is good, it was updated on the 5th...” Ummmm.... yea I know, cause that’s when I made the appointment. Long story short I had to ask him to speak to the doctor to see if I could receive care that morning, and watched them assist two other patients in the meantime while I sat. Then he informed me I could have an 8am appointment as a “courtesy”...... by this time I’m quite upset because I don’t need a courtesy, I need you to hold up your end of the deal! I made this appointment 2 weeks ago! The doctor was great, she had me back in a chair by about 7:45am and I was out the door headed home by 8:15am. Had I not pushed Mr Ben to do more than tell me “if only I had an appointment”, I wouldn’t have been seen in a timely manner. I even had to ask him if I could please fill out any necessary paperwork while he talks to the doctor so I’m not waiting even longer if they’ll see me and he said no! He finally relented on that one.... such a shame! I used to recommend this place to everyone, and now I will be phoning my insurance to ask for other nearby network providers because I don’t want to risk this happening again. Not everyone has all day to fight with dental office staff and beg to be seen when they have had an appointment for 2 weeks.

Dr. Chiang and her team is awesome! They really try to focus on providing the best dental experience for their patients. My visits for the cleanings are very thorough and comfortable. They have all the dental specialists there so you can get work done for your whole family! Highly recommend!

My mother loved Dr.Prak and Ashley. She felt comfortable and enjoyed her visit. You can tell that they are passionate about their jobs. Highly recommend!

I recently moved to the Kingwood/ Atascocita area. I've been looking for a new dentist and I found the perfect place for me. The staff here were so quick and took such great care of me. I was in and out. I was taken such good care of by everyone and Dr. Chahal was so sweet and took her time with me. The dental assistant, Nicole, was fast but gentle. I received a cleaning and a full check up and was back to work within the hour! I would recommend this place to anyone!

My first visit at atascocita modern dentistry was a wonderful experience all thanks to the assistant ana castaneda because she was very gentle cleaning my teeth. She taught me how to floss the correct way. strongly recommend.

Had Ashley as my assistant and she was fantastic! Made me feel super comfortable and was very knowledgeable, great jokes too! ❤️ Great staff overall, great place if you need dental work.
