I would advise anyone to avoid this office due to poor clinical & business practices. I allowed one of their dentists to apply veneers to my four front teeth about two years ago. After about 2 weeks, one just fell out & after around 2 months two more fell out. I was informed that the dentist had made them incorrectly, laying flat against the teeth instead of wrapping around under the tooth. The process of having them corrected was very inconvenient, costing me much time & embarrassment (due to walking around with missing front teeth).
I agreed to pay $172 per month "interest free." I have faithfully paid the amount I agreed to only to find out that my balance just went from $344 to over $1,500 because they gave me an inaccurate amount for my monthly payments, causing me to be deceived into unknowingly go over the promotional date & having additional interest charged. There is no way that I'm giving these crooks any more of my money. Dealing with these incompetent scumbags was one of the biggest mistakes of my life.

I would give them 5 stars when we started going to this dental clinic just because their dentists, particularly Dr. Chiang, was a wonderful dentist with an awesome bedside manner. I decided to wait a while before I gave them a review because when I was scouting for a dental clinic in our area and found them on Google, they had some awful reviews about their staff and the way they handle patient billing. The dentist reviews were good which actually proved to be true so I do not contest that unless one comes to a fault. However, the reviews about some of the staff were valid. In the beginning, they are nice, perky, and very helpful. Now that we are in our almost 4th year or maybe 5 years with them, here goes the attitude. I am a difficult client, but I know how to deal with difficult people like me. I've been with customer service directly dealing with the general public (like the cursing, crazy types) and some of the staff (and yeah, I didn't get their names because I try not to make a big deal out of it until they have made strike 3) are not only lacking customer service skills but the arrogance is appalling. When they make mistakes, they do not utter apologies or like "We are sorry for the inconvenience, let me clarify that for you and I'll do my best to make sure that doesn't happen again." They will collide with you face on knowing you are agitated and explain things to you like you are stupid and blame the mistake on someone else other than themselves. My husband had an appointment for a root canal, and since they do not coordinate with each other on what they discuss with their clients, they always make a mistake of charging you services that are yet to be rendered. Despite of the fact that I have clarified with them that we have paid our deductible in advance (And they have their computer, mind you, to track down what a patient has paid and receipts that have been issued), they seem to have no idea what is going on with a patient's account and blame it on what appears on a Yes or No insurance query. So if the insurance says, No you haven't met your $100 deductible, but they have a record that the patient (not to mention you have a receipt) paid a $100 deductible, they blame on it on what is appearing on the computer. An information entered on a computer is only as good and reliable as the person who entered the information--it is prone to errors. No apologies, and arrogance--seriously!

My husband, daughter and I all come here for our dental needs. My visits have all been great - no complaints. Dr. Wilkes was wonderful with my 2 year old! She’s been talking about going back for more “princess sparkles” 😆

I suspect Insurance fraud here! Waiting on them to resolve charge’s for services that we did not receive.

Simply the best experience ever! Its always a positive experience coming here. They are fast clean and sooooooo efficient! In and out in one hour with no wait. I was able to show up at 7am and leave with plenty of time for work. Thank you Dr Chiang!

Overall I don’t think it’s possible to find a better staff than the ones here. I felt comfortable, understood, and completely taken care of. Every interaction I had with each staff member was very pleasant and professional. This was my first visit to this office and I couldn’t be happier with my choice to go with Atascocita Modern Dentistry

BEWARE!!!!6 months ago i would have rated this place a 5. A few days ago i went back for my second visit to find my old dentist had left and my new dentist would be Kristin Arnold. The experience was fine until i finally met the new dentist. To start with she told me that i had decay around an old filling and needed to replace it with an inlay or another filling. She then sent in the girl with financing to set up payment for a porcelain inlay which turned out to be outside of my dental plan, $371.00. After seeing the price tag that i hadn't anticipated i asked about just doing another filling. The dentist seemed perturbed that i would even bring that option back up. She told me that it would only last half as long and the filling could be deep depending on the depth of the decay under the old filling. Now my tooth hadn't bothered me before and thinking about the brevity of the picture of my tooth i didn't really see all the decay she had mentioned. So i decided to go with the filling instead ($40.00 in plan). This seemed to make her quietly fume and she became snappy with the assistant who was there with us helping her. I couldn't help but feel sorry for the guy because it seemed as if he had taken my place her "whipping boy". It took her about 15 min to complete the whole procedure which thinking back seems rather rushed and might explain why the tooth that didn't bother me at all, now feels rough all over like unpolished plaster and is sensitive to touch, and everything else. Of course she did tell me that my tooth might be sensitive but i figured i should come out at least somewhat better than before especially getting work done at this place. Now i wish i had asked for a second opinion first. Bottom line, if there isn't another dentist there then i will be finding a new office all together for me and my family. I will probably be going to another office anyway to fix the work Kristin did anyway.

My husband has terrible wisdom tooth pain and they could not set him and appointment until way into the future. I asked if there was anything they could do in the mean time for the pain and they prescribed an antibiotic (only after calling 7 times) a month later he is still in pain ( meds ran out) while waiting for this appointment so I asked if there was anything more they could do for his infection in the mean time. They rudely said no that they would not prescribe anything else after I had to call 3 times because they could never get a chance to asked the dentist. I asked if I could get a sooner appointment and they said no however they referred me to another dentist which in this case sounds great as I never want to deal with these rude uncaring people again.

This use to be the ideal place. They obviously went under new management. They have lost the best employees, and more importantly, their professional identity. After paying nearly $5,000 out of pocket for cosmetic work, auto debits from my account, multiple cleanings, spousal visits, and dependents visits, they have lost my ENTIRE file!! This monotone manager, who made it clear that he was the manager and who seemed annoyed at my request for repairing something they broke, just made this experience worse. This may have been the same manager I had to scold for talking to my wife in a judgmental tone. There is no record of me being serviced at their location! I'm at a complete lost for words! Ridiculous!! I will never go back there!

Was in for a cleaning and exam. Took a while to finish X-rays but I understand. But what a weird feeling I had. It was like as soon as they understood I was just in for an exam and cleaning they just blow me off "No care needed." And the cleaning lasted 5 minutes. I brush my teeth longer then it took them to "Clean" my teeth! Would never recommend this place. I have better experiences at many other Dentists.
