MINT dentistry | Lake Worth

It was a series of things that led to this review. I went to this location 3 different times for myself and for my kids and each day we had a different problem. First they didn't have a dentist available and after waiting for an 1, we rescheduled the appointment. The next time they did not bill my insurance carrier accordingly even after I reminded them to do so several times. They then said it was my error and they would look into it and get back to me. That happened in July. I still haven't heard back. Lastly, we showed up for an appointment for my son and after another 40 minute wait they said the doctor couldn't do the procedure and we had to see someone else.

Cassie DeMora-staff are very knowledgeable and polite. They took the time to explain what was needed to improve the quality of my teeth and offered multiple options for treatment and payment. Carolyn was absolutely amazing and kind. Would highly recommend!

I wanted a teeth cleaning so called MINT. Keep in mind I am retired and on a budget.

they quoted 200 which is a lot but I decided to had a good feeling about their company.

Came in and they did the bait and switch. She quoted 400 for exam and cleaning and possible reduction if I joined their discount plan for 149 a year. Additionally she let me know deep cleaning would cost 400 per quadrant.

In summary this companys goal is to get the most out of your wallet.........RUN

My first time here I was recommended by my step dad! I can officially say I’ve found my new dentist home. The staff there is so amazing and very friendly not to mention they make you feel so comfortable while you’re waiting to get seen also super clean place smells great as well, Alicia was the best! She made sure to to over everything with me as far as what my insurance covered. I just appreciate y’all so much taking the time to make me feel welcome I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a new dentist keep up the great work.❤️🦷🪥

I never enjoy going to the dentist, but my visit at this location was truly amazing! The staff was so welcoming. They made sure I was comfortable the entire visit and explained everything thoroughly to me. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

My family of 6 just moved to Texas from California and we were looking for a new dentist's office. This happened to be the only location I called that had availability for all 4 of my kids to be seen before school starts back up. So glad they did because I'm so impressed! Great office staff, friendly dental staff and dentist. Everyone was made comfortable. I was especially excited that they offer teeth whitening. Lucky to have found them

I had one tooth removed a large Molar in the bottom right of my mouth. About 2 Weeks later tooth fragments starting poking out of the area that the tooth was pulled from. It was quite painful with swelling and bleeding from the fragments they left in 2 times offering no help. I can deal with pain but that's not the point. They did an X-ray the first time. The second time again after the 3 large tooth fragments were removed out of the same area they worked on the previous weeks. Here's where we get to Negligence. I believe you should communicate if there is an issue with something that the other side needs to know about. So about 2 weeks later after the first tooth fragment's were removed. I feel a painful spot that turned into a large swollen area with another sharp tooth fragment finally protruding out of that area. It was cutting into the bottom of my tongue badly and got very painful then went to bleeding. I tried myself to snap off or remove that sharp tooth fragment because they were closed the following week being the New Year and then Omicron hit. I had to deal with that issue until someone was back in the Office which was about another week or so after the New Year. Well the large tooth fragment is still attached to my Jaw at this point. I go back into Mint for an Emergency Dental procedure I thought. They weren't happy because of their mistake costing them time I guess. They told me this 2nd time in for fragments of tooth and jaw bone that I needed a Dental Surgeon. Then simply refused to communicate with me as they had screwed up my jaw and another tooth next to the one half removed. They asked me to leave when I started asking bothersome questions. Quite Naturally I was concerned because the whole situation felt like they had hurt me which they did and would only repeat you need a Dental surgeon without any further explanation. I ended up going to 7 Day Dental which is fantastic. They have a Wednesday offering Half Off most all procedures and Money is very tight right now for myself. I had to spend quite a bit to resolve the issue they created and choose not to deal with. If you call their Corporate office No one answered for me. You can verify this for yourself. If you need real estate or the like they are selling that as part of their Dental Business. Sure seems like their focus is on Money and not at all taking responsibility for injuring me the patient. I can't give less than one star if I could it would be none. Mint Dental takes no responsibility and if you pay cash your out of luck it seems. I would say go anywhere but Mint Dental to avoid getting injured. I hope you don't have to go through this so I wrote down the fact's so you could make a more informed decision thus the long review. I usually check reviews especially if the business is health related. In this case I should have done so. Good luck with your Dental procedure if you choose Mint. They aren't any less expensive and they aren't using modern technology that would prevent these issues. I went to 7 Day Dental my experience was really great. The pictures of your X-rays are done on a live TV right in front of you with communication being very good compared to Mint. They Got me in for an Emergency Appointment later the same day. They corrected my issue by removing the attached fragments of tooth and Jaw. I was lucky. Mint left me in Pain with no options except sorry about your luck. Seek a Dental Surgeon was all they would say period. I guess Mint doesn't have any on staff?. I find this very strange as the Dentist at 7 Day took care of my issue Mint created very well. Some find Dental uncomfortable. If Mint creates an Issue. They choose not to address it and leave me in Pain with tooth and Jawbone fragments in my head.

Negative stars ✨, new patient ,called to state I may be a few minutes late , they told me more than 10 minutes need to reschedule, luckily got there on time , did paperwork, girl at front desk was nice at first , after filling out paperwork, waited 45 minutes went to front desk she said I was next they were cleaning room , sat back down , about 20 minutes later went back to front desk asked how much longer , it was my only day off , girl at front desk stated may have a problem with pt in back , maybe a few more minutes, another 20 minutes went to front desk and ask how much longer again, she said she was unsure , I was then upset and asked why didn’t she communicate with me so maybe I could reschedule instead of waiting almost 2 hours , told her I would wait 10 more minutes then I would reschedule, she rudely said come back in minutes so I can reschedule you , at that point I told her that cancel my appt , no apology no nothing , not good customer service , no communication, wasted my morning , will not be retuning ! Communication is the key !
