I was very impressed with how quickly my dental emergency was assessed and treated. What I thought was a loose tooth turned out to be a loose crown. Amazingly professional staff, who seemed to work in unison and precision. Dr. Y that treated me is impressive. His dental tenique was gentle and almost painless. Going to any dentist is very hard, but Gentle Care Dentists is an appropriately named establishment. Glad I found a dentist I don't dread to see again.

I honestly chose this dentist because they're located really conveniently and am overall happy with their service! First appointment was a year ago and from what I remember it was fine, a little pushy about fixing a chip in my tooth, but overall good. This time I honestly really appreciated them a lot! Everyone was extremely kind and professional, timely and respectful. The doctor was informative, and less pushy (although he did continue to bring up something I mentioned I didn't want). The hygienist was efficient and engaged with my incessant babbling (when she wasn't cleaning :P) so I'd say she was pretty patient as well XD. She also provided guidance for brushing so loved that! Shoutout to the receptionist who was super helpful and patient :D. Basically, every person I interacted with for this appointment was wonderful and I think if you're looking for a dentist this one is great!

Edit: Upon looking at previous reviews I also wanted to mention that when the doctor or the hygienist offer something, you have the right to say no. The hygienist was receptive to that and did not push at all. The doctor will mention it a couple more times but if it's something you don't want to do then he is also receptive and will let it be.

I was a little nervous to try this practice as I read more recent reviews. However, since visiting this office, I really cannot understand the negative experiences listed below. I have had 3 really great appointments so far, including a night guard fitting and a deep clean. I was always given pricing before anything was started, and felt comfortable asking questions. The front desk receptionist is very kind and puts you at ease, as both the hygienist and Dentist are easy to talk to and respectful of your time. I'd say if you're looking for a new dental office I recommend this one 100%

Beware of this place, they are running a complete scam. They WILL overcharge you and make you jump through hoops trying to get them to fix it. The staff is extremely rude, and the dentist and dental assistants have no idea what they are doing. Both of my appointments saw me leaving in pain, and a sore mouth for several weeks. I was told by the staff this was "normal". Nothing about extended pain after a simple cavity filling is normal. Just save yourself the stress and go elsewhere. I recently switched to Dental Devotion which is right up the street and they have been absolutely fantastic!

Incredible services. Thought I'd have to have a tooth extracted and Dr. Y was able to get a crown built. He and his assistant have incredible dedication and work amazing with their clientele. I'd recommend them to anyone anytime.

Have been going to Dr. Y for a couple years now and the experience has been fantastic. From his calming disposition to his excellent tradecraft, Dr Y is a true Dental savant. Highly recommend him, and it only helps that the staff at gentle care are polite and efficient.

I actually made an appointment last week and got scheduled For today and when he seen me he could actually do the removal of my wisdom teeth the same day. I was happy! A place I will definitely recommend.

I was told that there was one problematic wisdom tooth. I was 28 at the time, and three years ago falsely claimed I need a wisdom tooth extraction. Additionally, the procedure was botched. However, the bill was paid in full. Now, three years later, for some reason they reported the bill past due to a collection agency.

Backstory:
During a routine cleaning the dentist noted that two wisdom tooth should be extracted for hygiene reasons. I’ve switched dental care providers (for reasons I’ll say shortly). The correct tooth wasn’t extracted during the procedure and since, my new practice has deemed the tooth is actually perfectly fine and not at any risk whatsoever. I’ve had no issues with it in the past three years since.

I was confused at first. Wasn’t I way past the age of wisdom tooth issues? I’ve never had problems or pains in the past. However the doctor was insistent that this these teeth could be at risk for cavity and infection. So, I trusted him and scheduled the appointment. Huge mistake.

So here’s the deal with the procedure:

The doctor prescribed a sedative which I took exactly as prescribed. At the office I continuously complained that the sedative hadn’t yet kicked in. The doctor pressured me into the procedure regardless saying don’t worry, it’s working, you just don’t know it. Actually, the sedative only kicked in AFTER I left the dental office on the ride home. I was completely lucid for the entire extraction of thee teeth.

Now here’s the real kicker: the doctor removed three teeth from my mouth and left the one tooth he was most concerned about. Two perfectly good teeth were removed. They claimed they were out of time and stopped the procedure. They ACTUALLY said that they had other extractions to perform on other patients who are waiting. They kicked me out of the office with an incomplete procedure, as the sedatives were starting to kick in, and told me to make another appointment (obviously I did not). They took advantage of me when I was most vulnerable.

I trusted these people. It’s clear that they’re only concerned with their patient’s money and not their well being. After this botched procedure I only wanted to distance myself from this as much as possible. I should have wrote this review sooner but was too embarrassed. Now, adding literal insult to injury, they send a bill that I paid three years ago in full, to collections! During a pandemic! They must be going bankrupt. Hopefully. Buyer beware.
