Dr Sheila and her assistant, Mareci are TOP NOTCH!! I have always had a fear of dentists and not now! My experience with Vacendak Dentistry has made me actually look forward to my next appointment! :)

Vacendak Dentistry is an exceptional dental office. Dr Sheila Vacendak is very knowledgeable and makes every effort to answer questions and address concerns. I brought my 5 year old for a check up and asked several questions, some even regarding sleep apnea concerns. She addressed those concerns and referred us to an ENT as well as an excellent pediatric dentist for more specialized care for my child. Her expertise and connections with other providers in the area was evident.

The staff is friendly and helpful. My first phone call to schedule an appointment to be seen ASAP was met with understanding and care. The kind woman on the other line (I didn’t catch her name but she was wonderful) was able to fit us in within the week.

Maricel made us feel welcome and comfortable in the office on our first visit, providing wonderful care to my child.

Timesha helped schedule appointments for my twin daughters and myself with enthusiasm, patience and kindness.

As someone who is very particular about medical and dental providers for my family (I have visited 5 dentists in the Virginia Beach/Chesapeake area), I am beyond thankful to have found an office that exceeds expectations and definitely stands out.

let me tell you, Dr.P works miracles. She went way above and beyond to get my smile perfect for my wedding day. I’ve struggled with my teeth most of my life and have major anxiety around going to the dentist, and she was gentle and reassuring and thought of literally every detail to make sure I was taken care of. Including bringing me a protein shake because she knew I wouldn’t be able to eat after and had to go to work as soon as my appointment was over. 10/10 most genuinely kind experience I’ve ever had in a dentist office.

I just started going to Dr. Sheila when I moved here to Virginia and I am beyond please with my experience. Her and Maricel were wonderful and made me feel so comfortable while getting my fillings.

I have seen Dr. Sheila, Dr. Daniel and Dr. Patricia here and am always thoroughly impressed with their service! Their communication and thoroughness and the time they take for their patient's questions and care is beyond amazing. I LOVE going to the dentist...and my kids do too! Special thanks to Dr. Patricia and her team for going over and beyond for my last appt!

This was my first visit and I needed a cavity filled. I am THE WORST when it comes to needles in my mouth. I actually changed to this practice because my previous dentist said" it's no big deal" when I verbalized my fears. I reiterated my pain tolerance is very low and was reminded by his hygienist that I am a nurse. Needless to say that was not the least comforting. So my husband and I switched to this practice. To say that they were warm, welcoming and patient is an UNDERSTATEMENT. The minute we both walked in we were greeted with a smile and the receptionist said" it's so good to meet you". I saw Dr. Patricia and she actually sat down and TALKED to me about my concerns, my history and told me she also had a low pain tolerance. Who does that? I was taken into the treatment room where a space heater was blowing warm air , I sat in a dental chair that had different massage settings. I was asked if I also wanted a blanket and what type of music would I like to listen to. Dr Patricia and the assistant Markie were THE ABSOLUTE BEST. They were patient and caring. They explained EVERYTHING from what I hear, what I would feel such as vibrations pressure etc. I can not explain how comforting they were. If your dental practice doesn't offer these things, you definitely should reevaluate why you're there. My husband and I are patients of Vacendak Dentistry for life. Thank you Dr. Patricia, Markie and the sweet receptionist who greeted us.

Being a 7+ year patient, the quality of service, professionalism, and the care of the health of my teeth never fell below excellence. I constantly thank both Dr. Vs & Team for all they do...... lifetime patient, for sure!

I have been seeing Dr. Dan since they opened their practice. Outstanding dentist!!! He is attentive and caring and takes great care of you while you’re there. The entire practice is clean and friendly with all the latest dental tech. My hygienist Stephanie is excellent. Explains everything she does and makes you feel comfortable in her chair. A wonderful family dental practice!!!

I recently had my first visit there after my last dentist closed. My experience was great. I appreciate that they take Tricare dental insurance, and they have an easy portal to do the paperwork so you don’t have to sit there rushing through with a clipboard in the lobby. The office is nice, clean, and updated. My dental hygienist Kelly was kind, thoughtful, and explained everything. She always told me what she was doing and was happy to answer all my questions. I felt like the dentist took her time with me and listened to my concerns. They are not overzealous with treatment, and I feel good about their treatment plan. I definitely would recommend them.

Whitnee did my periodontal cleaning and she was great. Super fun to talk to, great music selection to listen to while she worked and very thorough. She took great care to make sure I was comfortable and explaining every step/sound while she worked.

Dr. Dan and Lucy did my tooth bonding and night guard impressions and I was so appreciative that they could work it into their schedule with my cleaning instead of breaking it up into two appointments as originally scheduled. It meant a little extra time in the chair for me, but they made sure I was comfortable. I’m so happy I found this office! The front desk/check out staff is fantastic too!
