Vacendak Dentistry

I moved to the area knowing that I had some extensive dental work coming my way at some point. I contacted several dental offices in Virginia Beach and Chesapeake. Done simply could not get me in, others didn’t even return my call. I had seen Vacendak Dentistry recommended several times on a Facebook group I’m part of so I decided to give them a call. Much like all dental offices in the area, they were very full and the wait for general check up and cleaning visits was lengthy at first. That being said, the lovely people at Vacendak dentistry knew I was worried about a few of my teeth and they called me working a couple of day to schedule my visit as soon as an appointment opened up. They were awesome! They also did everything they could to help my schedule my subsequent visits in the way that benefitted me the most in regards to finances and my insurance. Whitney is the hygienist who cleaned my teeth and I definitely recommend her. She’s fantastic. Dr. Sheila completed my extensive work along with Marecil, and they were also amazing! Visiting the dentist can feel so daunting but my experience at Vacendak dentistry was truly exceptional. I highly recommend this practice!

Dr. Sheila is so great. She is knowledgeable and kind. Some of us have not had great dental experiences in the past and she is very patient and calming, which helps with the anxiety. Maricel is so sweet and explains what is happening, which is very nice!

I reached out to Vacendak Dentistry because I seriously needed a dental clinic more professional then my kids and I's previous clinic. The previous clinics issue were the front desk staff and how disrespectful they were towards patients. The thing that got to me was how surprised I was to not hear from the front desk employee who was suppose to call me back about my insurance information and new patient spot (I should have wrote down her name). I called back and another employee answered and stated there were no openings until a later date which I stated that's not what the previous person said. To get straight to the point, I wanted to make an appointment with this Dentistry because of how great their reviews were. The way the person talked to me over the phone 1) she has a smirk in her voice and 2) if you say your going to call back to clarify information be professional and do it. First impressions are very important and unfortunately because of how this front desk employee talked over the phone I'm going somewhere else.

I have been seeing Drs. Shelia and Dan for several years. They are always very nice and professional. Appointments are pretty on time. The staff is friendly and courteous as well. Marecil did my temporary crown. She did such a great job I can hardly tell the temporary crown is there! I recommend this office hands down!

From the time I made the appointment for my daughter (3 years old) at Vacendak Dentistry to the scheduling of a follow-up appointment after our visit, we had nothing but great experiences. The entire staff is so professional, friendly, and caring. Marecil and Dr. Sheila were so sweet with my daughter during her visit and made her feel completely at ease. The office was clean and updated and we were called back exactly at our scheduled appointment time. I couldn't have been more pleased with Vacendak Dentistry and would highly recommend them.

My four year old has been twice now and has been made to feel comfortable both times. He easily let them do X-rays AND clean his teeth to my surprise!

First visit to this Dental office and it’s definitely five stars . The best dental office I have ever been to! Staff was really friendly and nice and explained everything. One of the very few dental offices left that accepts Military Tricare at their rate and really can’t thank them enough for doing that. Whitney was especially nice and explained all things to me and took the time where most dental offices have to get to those patients and finish she was very very nice. At the front when we were all done we met Karima, Who explained all the billing and everything including the appointments she was really nice and really helped us out and was very patient. Overall a really great experience

Maricel and Dr Sheila gave me a crown today, and I can honestly say it was an enjoyable experience! I don’t know that I’ve ever said that about getting a crown! I was very impressed that they were treating me constantly so that my visit didn’t take longer than needed. I’ve been to so many dentists where half the time I’m waiting in the room for the dentist to come work on my mouth. The only time I was alone was waiting for the crown to fully be made, and that waiting was worth it because there’s no temporary crown! And while I waited, they cared for me with a blanket and massage chair :-).

I absolutely love Vacendak Dentistry! It is such a friendly atmosphere from the moment you walk in. I have seen both Dr. Daniel and Dr. Sheila in the 2 1/2 years I have been going here. They are both phenomenal. The hygienists I have seen have all been informative and friendly. I saw Stephanie today and she was awesome! I highly recommend Vacendak Dentistry!!

I’ve always hated going to the Dentist but Dr. Sheila and Dan have made it a great experience for me over the years. They also have the best team. This week I had the pleasure of working with Maricel. She was very attentive, down to earth and made sure my comfort was priority. Also, Claire at the front desk is the best too. Always refer this Dentist office to people because I lucked out finding them and they are the best
