Elliott, the office manager is a very nice person and cares about patients. He assisted me before my visit. He remembered me when I checked. and was very kind.
The young lady at the front desk who checked me in (whose name I failed to get) was very personable, friendly and efficient.
Margaret cleaned my teeth. She was outstanding and conscientious! Besides cleaning my teeth very well, she instructed me about an issue in my upper left gum, what to do, and gave me a very practical and great idea how to become more diligent with dental flossing; so easy, but I'd never done it. (Flossing while watching TV so have floss by the couch!)
Dr. Mark is a very nice man and excellent dentist. I just started to come to this location. I had been at the VA Family Denistry for over 15 years when I lived in Chesterfield, but changed when I moved to Glen Allen.
I have always been treated well at VA Family Denistry.

I saw Giana Watson, Hygienist, for my 6 month cleaning. She was very professional and I feel very thorough, scaling my teeth ultrasonically. Dr. Mark came in and after admiring Gina's work, he pronounced me good to go for another 6 months. The only pain came with the presentation of the bill at check out - perhaps Medicare will relieve that pain in the future.

I am a first time patient and I will definitely be a long term patient after a great experience here. Very friendly, clean and professional environment. All the staff is knowledgeable and make you feel comfortable. The hygienist was gentle on my mouth and walked me through step by step what she was doing and the options. The dentist was very informative about recommendations on how to help my dental hygiene and what services they can provide. I love that they have orthodontics options on site and a an option for a free consult with a partnered orthodontist offsite as well. They have multiple locations for dentist offices too! Coming out of my appointment my teeth never felt cleaner without feeling super sore or uncomfortable. So glad to have found a great dental office in the area!

I have never had such bad service. I had a great dentist but due to an insurance charge switched to this place. Well it has been one bad experiences after the next. I originally scheduled with a specific dentist who was recommended, only to be told that was her day off. The first hygienist told me she could not clean my teeth, even though my visit paid for it, because I needed a deep cleaning. That was a huge surprise to me because I take very good care of my teeth, and have been told as much. Well they couldn't schedule it for 3 months. So I go back in for that cleaning, and was told by the next hygienist that I didn't need the deep cleaning because my teeth and gums were not in bad shape. But to be sure, she scheduled an appointment with a periodontist. Upon arrival that day I was told I had no periodontist appointment scheduled,. All they had on their books was my next office visit. These people have done nothing but waste my time. Never again. Marguerite Murphy

The visit went very well. I had a different dentist and hygienist due to a change in my schedule. They were great! The cleaning didn't hurt and I didn't have any cavities! The receptionists were all very nice to me also.

I like this dentistry in the Richmond area. The people are nice and the work they have done is incredible. I would recommend this place.

Very professional and caring. I esp. like the fact that Dr. Forte explained what was happening throughout the whole procedure. Everyone was friendly and worked together for a smooth outcome.

Where do I begin? (Embarrassing) This is the first time in years that I have had proper dental care. As you can imagine I was terrified, stricken with anxiety. I had read reviews prior to selecting this practice and for the most part the reviews about the dental staff were stellar -minus the reviews about the hospitality of the front desk. Upon arriving to the dental office the front desk staff was attentive and polite. My appointment was at 2:00pm but I was not seen until 2:35pm which increased my anxiety. Finally, I was called back by Kim and she greeted me with a smile and thanked me for my patience. I was walked to the room and Kim was social and answered all my questions about the process and what I can expect. She was comforting when I began to have a mild anxiety attack and gave me the space I needed to calm down. Dr. Mark was kind and thoroughly explained my x-rays and the options I had during the appointment. I felt comforted in knowing that I was not pressured in making in decisions. However, I felt like my health was in great hands that I ended up going through with the procedure that only lasted 20 minutes. The staples mill office is amazing and made me feel comfortable and I have already scheduled another visit. Thank You Kim and Dr. Mark.

Very friendly staff at this location of Virginia Family Dentistry. Dr. Forte has an excellent patient manner. I'm a dentist "fraidy-cat" and his demeanor certainly helped me through the root canal procedure.

Couldn't have had a better Hygenist! Very good and positive experience.
