Went to a commonwealth dentistry location everyone was nice. I had been going to this place for years but commonwealth had just purchased the place from another dentist. I had to pay for my cleaning which seemed weird but I payed a few weeks later got billed a ridiculous amount of money. I called and they told me I was out of network that they don't participate with my insurance only there own. I let them know no one has ever told me that and if they have I would have canceled my appointment. The manager called the location I went to and someone there told them that they have explained all this to me but this was a lie because the appointment was my first one since covid happened about a year and half. I told the manger that and she just sorry take it up with your insurance. I will never go back to this place and I will recommend everyone not to go there.

Dr. Dixon is absolutely amazing!! She made my daughters feel super comfortable as well as answered any concerns I had.The entire staff were friendly and informative. I honestly wished I would have found Commonwealth Denistry sooner.

The staff were amazing, professional, and they took the time to explain my dental work. Dr. Mackenzie was so patient and knowledgeable. My hygienist was also very thorough and kind. The only thing I had an issue with was the long wait, but it was worth the wait. I appreciated the oral rinse they gave me to protect me against Covid-19!

Great customer service, great staff and excellent medical care. The facility is well equipped with the latest devices including the motorized teeth cleaner which a lot of dentists still do not have in Richmond.

Such a great practice with awesome staff! My 4-year-old son had an injury, and they fit us into the schedule the day after we found an abscess in his gums. They scheduled him to see the pediatric dental specialist the day after that, and she was able to extract that tooth in the office that same day. Dr. Dixon and Olivia were so incredibly patient with my anxious little guy, and made a hard thing a little bit easier with their compassion and gentleness. So grateful for the whole Commonwealth team for providing such compassionate and quality care for my family! Thanks again Leah-Grace, Dr. Meadows, Olivia, and Dr. Dixon! :)

Can not recommend. On my initial visit for root canal I was left alone with a mouth full of stuff and the numbing agent wore off and had to scream for help as I was in immense pain. At the visit, they told me they accepted my insurance only to inform me they did not months later. After adding additional charges labeled as “charge adjustment” to the bill, they took me to court. It’s hard to read fine print in tooth pain, but they put it there anyways.

Very professional and friendly staff! Clean inside doctors and staff makes you comfortable and safely precautions against virus are current. My doctor explained everything single thing before going in my mouth to remove my teeth even down to sound I may hear while removing my teeth! I went to doctor Diane Iachini she’s awesome. I was scared but she continued to numb me before starting. I couldn’t feel nothing ! I enjoy going to commonwealth dentist on forest hills, they’re great!
