I've been going to Dr. Shan for about 3-4 years now. Awesome dentist that actually takes the time to see her patients, doesn't just hand you off to an assistant. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Great dentist and extremely friendly staff. I recently switched dentist due to my previous dentist charging, what I feel is an excessive amount for filings. Dr Shan charged less than a quarter of what my previous dentist was going to charge.

Ailin Shan at Glenside Dental, VA is one of the best dentist I have ever been to. I had serious issues with 3 of my teeth and one was taken care of the first visit. Dr. Shan and her assistants are kind, gentle, professional, and do excellent work. Gentle cleaning did a very through job, and my gums did not hurt afterwards. Dr. Shan listened to me and I was given several options to fix my teeth. She will explain things when you ask and treat you like you are important. I highly recommend this dentist and her caring staff. I do not live in this state, but will travel here again, just to see her. (I found this dentist by checking reviews online, as I did not know any one here. I am grateful to all those who left reviews for the many dentists in this area. It helped me to find this one.)

Amazing - I had a dental emergency and tried reaching out to several dentist who said they are an emergency dentistry and NOT 1 called me back. I posted on facebook and someone suggested Dr. Shan, I called explained my situation and that I needed a second opinion on the pain I have been experiencing due to my son headbutting me earlier in the week. They said come on in and saw me IMMEDIATELY! and just as I thought there was something more that my dentist was seeing. So glad I got a second opinion and thankful to the person who referred this dentistry to me! I am going to be switching to this practice to be my primary dentist. Thank you Dr. Shan for taking the time to help me understand what was going on with my tooth and giving me a good thorough communication of what to expect over the next several days!

some years ago, i was in a bit of a jam and my tooth ached. it was on a saturday close to christmas. i looked for a dentist and found dr shan. they worked me in and i was so impressed with their operation that i switched dentists and have never regretted it.
