I was referred to Affordable Family Dental and what a great practice. After a thorough medical questionnaire I was given an appointment. All COVID-19 protocols were in place and the office is immaculate. The first impression was outstanding as the dental assistant is personable and very knowledgeable as she could explain and answer any questions with the caveat "Dr. Hank" would better explain all concerns. Dr. Hank has a demeanor that immediately puts one at ease. He patiently took the time to logically explain my dental needs and the best way to approach them. I felt like we were working as a team to begin the process of me reaching dental health. Due to the pandemic I had fear but now vaccinated my dental health is of utmost importance. I had a failed crown for the third time. "Dr. Hank" explained the tooth needed to be extracted. I was anxious but had the ability to use sedation. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone. This is a Dentist who is working to preserve your teeth and assist you in obtaining optimal dental health. My entire family will become patients.

New PT appointment presenting pain from filling falling out. I was contacted within 24hrs with appointment avail and to my surprise I was seen same day! The dentist who executed intake was efficient, thorough, welcoming, professional, and provided exceptional patient counseling after my treatment. He not only tended to the primary complaint but he also ensured that other issues were treated at that visit (which would have realistically resulted in 5 visits rather than one). i was fortunate to have selected Affordable Family Dentistry. I had an emergency and I was able to make an appointment. Dr. Chang made me feel important and comfortable at the same time. No one like being at the dentist. I'm not any different. He was able to provide me some comfort with some medication and a treatment plan to help better take care of my gums. He educated me on what I am doing wrong and what I need to do right. He made it very personal to make sure I know what I need to do to keep my teeth. Education is key when it comes to healthy gums. I will be returning for sure for more cleaning and a treatment to restore my gums back to health. He did a great job and I am happy that I have made this appointment with Affordable Family Dentistry! I have lived in this area for a very long time and I have seen this dentist office a million times never once thought about going. The dentist I was using before would no longer take my son's insurance so I had to pay out of pocket and the dentist is not cheap. So I set out to find a dentist that took my son's insurance and my insurance. This brought me to Affordable family dentist in Thrasher's corner. After contacting the dentist I was sent a link to fill out all of my information, this did take some time but it was well worth it. When I walked in there for our appointments it was just the dentist in the office. He had gone through our papers and new art history and all of our Dental history as . He was very kind explain what was going to happen today for our first appointment took Jack in first then send Jack out when he was done and I went for my appointment. He did find a few concerning things decided to do the larger X-ray camera which led to finding out things that I had going on that I didn't know. The doctor was very thorough in explaining the procedure the cost and things that can help me afford dentistry along the way. He was very straightforward when it came to braces for my son he agrees that he is not ready for braces where the other dentist wanted to put him in right away. I felt they have very fair prices especially for a single mom and her 14 -year -old son. I'm happy that affordable family Dentistry is now part of my family. I would recommend this Dentistry to anyone I have already referred my Mom

This dentist office is great! Appointments are quick and to the point, no long waiting around. They have a very modern approach to how a dentist office should be run. Most important they have no age cut off for kids with Molina. I can bring both my kids here and very conveniently located.

I had a severe toothache and had never been to a dentist in over ten years. I found Dr. H's listing because it was close to where I live. So I end up being a "walk in" patient and was greeted by the Dr. and within an hour I had an evaluation of what was wrong and a roadmap to get everything back on track. The extraction went very smoothly and without any discomfort. I would definitely recommend Dr. H, he is a true professional and got the job done.... About 500% better than my last visit to the dentist and virtually no pain in any way... He's the best...!!!

I have extensive trauma caused by multiple dentists and orthodontists, so I was extremely anxious going into this appointment (my first in at least a decade) and had barely been able to sleep due to nightmares. By the time I left the dental office, I had a great weight lifted off my shoulders. The only negatives about the experience come down to the nation's unwillingness to provide the same or greater accessibility of medical care for its citizens as countries it points to as inferior. Don't listen to reviewers who blame costs on the office staff or doctors. Medicaid and insurance companies determine what we pay.

I was very skeptical from previous dentists hard core selling products and procedure's all of which as made things worse. I was so impressed! Wonderful experience and went a long way to rebuild my trust. I could not recommend them more! Painless, effective, and no hard sales.

While traveling from out of town, I needed some emergency dental care. Dr. Hank took me in that day and single-handedly took the necessary x-rays, performed the complex procedure, called in the meds, and followed up with a call and an email. I was impressed not only by his technique, but also by his kindness. He carefully explained each step of the procedure along the way and he worked to make me more comfortable in the chair. It was a long and arduous visit for someone who doesn't like the dentist office, but Dr. Hank made it a successful and pleasant one. Lastly, the office is conveniently located in a local shopping center complex, and the office was very quiet and calm.

Today was my first visit and Dr. Hank was great. He was very informative, thorough in his explanations, nice, and professional. Very state-of-the-art equipment and Dr. Hank knows what he is doing. I highly recommend and will definitely come back.
