I had a broken crown. I called as a new patient to be seen by the dentist. They went out if their way to fit me into the schedule. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. They are my new dentist now

Honest review. I'm not a patient here nor have I been one. I'm writing this on behalf of my friend who was and her ridiculous experience. She went in with severe tooth pain. She got in for xrays quickly enough Problems were identified and a treatment plan was decided upon between her and the dentist Issues began while trying to book an anasthesiologist while simultaneously working one particular member of the staff Diana. She was rude condescending and outright mean at times. She completely changed how things were worked out between my friend and the dentist and didn't once apologize when she was wrong. Original plan consisted of 4 appts. 1 of those required her being put under for 6 hours. $5000 for that and insurance won't cover. Then the rest of the estimate... $6500. Insurance covers $2500. The plan was to do the first session to fix the immediate pain and complete the rest as she could. When she called to get the payments sorted out she was told, by Diana, that she had to have it all done at once or they wouldn't do it Then she was told that she couldn't be scheduled for a full month .. After the dentist told her she would be seen immediately even if it meant working on one of their days off. Anyhow she took her $10,000 elsewhere. Idk if there is a disconnect in communication somewhere in the office or what but regardless of any communication issues there is absolutely no place for people who treats patients the way Diana does in the Healthcare industry or in any customer service position at all

12 year combat medic vet, 6 years running a military treatment facility, 4 years as an EMT and 31 years of being a decent human being. In case anyone was wondering why I feel qualified to weigh in.

Edit cause I couldn't reply to your reply - no offense but I think you might be the one who doesn't know the facts. I sat right next to my friend while they were on the phone with her and she wasn't just a little frustrated because she wasn't able to help the patient. She was condescending and rude. Obviously you'll take her side over some guy you don't know and thats expected. Loyalty to your employees is commendable. I don't just randomly take time out of my life as a single father of 4 with a more than full time job to randomly post negative reviews. So thanks for your reply. I hope everything goes great for you guys and your business.

I would be very cautious of this dentist. I just moved here and had gone to the same dentist for several years with no issues. I went to Liberty Family Dental today and was told I had several issues with my teeth. The dentist exact comment was “so you know all the issues with your teeth correct”? I kept asking her to explain what she saw and her response was she had read xrays for 20 years and knew what she was looking at. Accused me of not going to a dentist like I stated, every 6 months and told me obviously I hadn’t had prior xrays token. She then said she wasn’t going to exam my teeth after they had already tooken xrays and cleaned my teeth. She didn’t like that I was questioning what she was saying. I told her I wanted my xrays to send to my prior dentist. She was extremely rude and not kind at all. I just got a call from the front desk stating that the dentist would not allow me back in there office or any of there local offices. I wasn’t going back anyways but wow...... all because I questioned her. Be very careful before going to this location. In response to your question Dr.... I made a appt so I could get a second opinion from the other dentist as you couldn’t explain when I asked my questions. I was not rude to any of your staff, you didn’t like that I was questioning what you were saying. I actually had one of your staff, tell me there was very good dentist in the Spokane Valley area.

Update: received a email from my dentist in CA that I saw for over 15 years! None of the issues Dr. Olmstead said needed to be done actually did. He said she had wrote a very aggressive unnecessary treatment plan. Went to a local dentist here in Spokane Valley today and was told the same thing as my previous dentist. I have no signs of decay what so ever. Yes I have some filling that need replaced in the next 6 moths to a year, which I had already discussed with my Dr. in Ca at my last appt. Funny thing is Dr. Olmstead said my teeth on top had decay and never mentioned my bottom fillings. So what actually needed addressed wasn’t. She was trying to fill teeth that are perfectly healthy!!! She has been reported to my Ins company as well as the State of Washington Dental Board. Nobody should have to go through what I did yesterday.

I absolutely hate the dentist and everything they stand for. I had three emergency situations from three different dentist from Boise to wandemere in which when I say emergency, the dentist put me in that situation. My anxiety was a 15 on a scale of 1 to 10 when I even knew I had to go. Yes I'm an adult and many people reading this may say "grow up" well, I have a couple phobias that keeps me from the dentist. Tuesday morning of this week, i woke to find my left half of my face was swollen from top lip to above my eye. I'm diabetic and I also have A compromised immune system . When I woke tuesday morning and saw my face and having medical issues, I knew I had to go, otherwise I could end up with possible death. My husband and I had moved to liberty lake and seen Dr Olmstead office several times prior by driving by and today I finally met her and her staff. All I can say is " what a wonderful lady and her staff is following in her footsteps. DR. Olmstead is amazing and to the point. She does her job with skill and most importantly, with patience and sympathy. She is quick and knows her talent well. Thank you Dr. Olmstead. Job well done!! Please, don't stay away from the dentist, I understand the anxiety all to well, however Dr. Olmstead will dissolve that insecurity.

Briana was exceptional. Always makes sure I am comfortable while doing the cleaning.

Would like the front counter staff to have the GUEST WIFI Password for customers to use while waiting.
