Balmoral Dental Center

These folks are amazing. I went to them after going to my dentist and being recommended to an endodonist. The endodonist told me it would be 4-6 weeks before I could see them or even have it pulled. I went to balmoral and though they weren’t able to do anything for me, they called their oral surgeon and got me in, in just a couple hours!!! They were very sympathetic to my pain and did everything they could too get me help! I will use them from now on! Thanks again!!!

I couldn't disagree more with the person who said one star. No way! My experience was the complete opposite. I had a dental emergency while in town on business (I'm from DC). Balmoral was the ONLY place that would see me on short notice, after calling 5 different places! I can't tell you how grateful I am that Balmoral staff took the time to work me in their schedules, which ended up being at the end of the day. They stayed after closing to see to my emergency. The dentist and assistant were fantastic. They addressed my issue in a timely, professional and competent manner. The dentist even went above and beyond that too, seeing that I had to fly home to DC for additional oral surgery. The dentist at Balmoral worked with my oral surgeons here to provide a complete picture of my issue. Honestly, I can't imagine many dentists that are willing to do this.

Overall, Balmoral is great. Friendly staff, competent professionals. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area. I mean, I was an OUTSIDER from DC and they treated me great. I can't imagine how great they'd actually treat a patient in the area.

Dr. Denney was very sweet, and did a great job with job with what I had done but the receptionist/billing lady doesn’t seem to know what she’s doing and was rude. First, my insurance was filed differently than my previous dentist and my husbands dentist did. My medical insurance was filed against. I was quoted that I would pay $35 for the procedure. The bill was more like $135. The billing lady called me multiple times about insurance rather than handling it while I was in the office. I work during the day. I can’t sit on the phone and wait for someone to figure this out. I had a procedure done on the left side of my mouth on a Monday and the following Monday I was scheduled for more work on the right side. I experienced some tooth sensitivity after the first procedure which was a normal side effect. However by Monday (next procedure due), I was still having sensitivity. I couldn’t have the right side worked on while I still couldn’t chew food on the left side. I called to reschedule the appointment Monday morning first thing. I left voicemail never was responded to and finally after 4 calls got the receptionist on the phone. I was told I would have a $50 fee for canceling the appointment with less than 24 hours notice. I didn’t cancel the Friday before because I hoped the sensitivity would be gone by my appointment on Monday. There is no way to cancel a Monday appointment on Saturday or Sunday. I said go ahead and bill me if that’s your policy. Then the receptionist without consulting a dentist tried to bully me into coming to the office. I didn’t want to come in get billed for an office visit for them to look into something that is a normal side effect. I finally had to say just bill me the $50 and I’ll find another office to fix the other issues to get her off the phone. There’s no telling what I will end up paying for the first procedure since it wasn’t filed on my insurance correctly. It is a shame that bad office staff ruins the experience with an excellent dentist. If I could rate my interactions with the receptionist (who is also the billing person) a zero, that’s what I would rate it.

Wonderdul dentist office full of very kind, caring and friendly staff with a terrific dentist! We have been going here for years and love it! Our kids go there as well and love them also. Very tentative to your needs and they definitely go the extra mile. Highly recommend!

I love this office! Everyone I have interacted with here has been so helpful and sweet! Deb up front treats you like she has known you forever and always greets you with a smile! I have a huge fear of going to the dentist and they all ( plus the gas lol) made me feel so comfortable! I had a immediate denture done on top and they look amazing! I could not be happier!

My husband is a 100% disabled Veteran and has been very happy wit the services he has received at Balmoral Dental Center. The staff very friendly and efficient and appointmenets are always on time. Very satisfied with the dental care he has been given.

Dr. Katie is awesome!!! She didn't make me feel bad about myself. she was the nicest dentist I've ever visited made me feel at home. I wish I could have found her a long time ago.

I loved it here until their billing department sent me to collections 3 weeks after sending my bill. They claimed I was 90 days past due as their billing starts from the date of service. They didn’t even tell me I owed anything until 2 months after my visit. Great dental care, awful billing department. I would avoid them if you don’t want to be sent to collections for a bill you didn’t even know about.

I love this office! Everyone is so nice, professional & fast acting! The Dentist is amazing he makes sure you are well taken care of and very informative! THANK YOU’LL SO MUCH!
