I have not been to the dentist in YEARS. This place made me feel so at home and so welcome. The staff is crazy friendly and the prices are really good. I will absolutely be back and would most certainly refer them to anyone.

Service is great! Customer service , better than most. We were interrupted several times by staff during my consultation, rude. Otherwise things are good here...Update... had a few billing problems, stuff didn't look right on billing, charged more than expected/quoted, with me and significant other. I will not be going back.

Scam Artists! Called the 877# to get info and make appt. the lady quoted price for cleaning with a 20% discount as $53 for Opelika office. I fill out paperwork online to save time, arrive 15 minutes early for appt. but still have to complete SAME paperwork in office and wait 45 minutes for appointment. Once I get back, I endure an enormous amount of x-rays, finally see a dentist who says everything is all good with my teeth. I’m taken to a “holding area” to see before see the financial clerk who tells me my cleaning will be $106.00 NO DISCOUNT, that the main 877# shouldn’t quote prices for them as they don’t know what they charge there. This is a national company! What a SCAM😡 not going back...

The people here are wonderful. Here you are not just a file or wallet, they genuinely care about you. I had a filling fall out on a leftover baby tooth. They were able to get me in the next day. The tooth was too deteriorated to save but Dr Shah took the time to go over all options with me. Then later that night I received a phone call from her, making sure I was okay with the pain meds. That is true customer service.

Do not get work done here without a second opinion. I saw someone else describe this place as a scam and I have to agree. Went in knowing I needed a few things done, a filling and a cleaning. I was told that the tooth that just needed a filling would need a crown (about $700) and was told there were no alternatives because "there was not enough tooth to work with, due to another filling" after asking three different times. Came out with $2600 (2100 after coupon) worth of suggested work needing done. Did not schedule an appointment as I do not have insurance and in no way could afford this and wanted a second opinion.

Went to "Tuskegee quality health care" which has a sliding fee based on your income and super friendly and experienced staff. Got the filling "that just couldn't be fixed without a crown" according to Aspen and went on my way. Was told I do not need any other work done at this time other than the cleaning.

Some other issues:
1. Was told I needed to have a filling replaced because the best method was not used by an earlier dentist, yet it was still in complete contact and was not giving me any issues.
2. When discussing cleaning prices, I told the billing specialist that I did not want the fluoride treatment included, yet she persisted and added it to the cost until I reiterated several times that I would not be getting it.
3, Car dealership vibe, they want to pressure you into getting the work done.
4. When talking to the billing specialist, I was not confident that she knew what she was doing. She tried to tell me that I did not have a wisdom tooth despite I told her that I do have one. She also ignored the fact that I had various teeth missing (which I did not realize until I went to Tuskegee Dental) so when she was numbering the teeth that needed work I am almost certain she was numbering them incorrectly, letting the dentist do this part would prevent this.
5. My husband went to Aspen a few months earlier and had the same thing happen to him. Went in for a cleaning and has never had a cavity and has had some issues related to his gums in the past that we have finally related to stress after various test ruling every gum disease out. Despite telling Aspen we have had test done ruling out gingivitis. They jumped on this opportunity to schedule his for a 1,000 scaling that is typically for individuals with gingivitis, despite they could not provide any real reason why. Defiantly play off fear tactics, as when my husband canceled this procedure the billing specialist said "you better not wait too long or it may get worse" despite there is nothing there to actually get worse.

The cleaning was thorough and most of the staff was very nice and friendly.

The reason I'm giving Aspen only 3 stars is because the office manager tried to swindle me into purchasing an extra service that wasn't necessary. I was speaking with the office manager before my cleaning to confirm what services I would be getting and she flat out lied to me and told me that the fluoride was necessary and mandatory for all patients, and they were going to be charging me $37 for it. After that I was very confused about why I would be having to pay $37 for a regular cleaning that was completely covered by my insurance. I had to be persistent and tell the hygienist that I did not want the fluoride (even though they said it was mandatory), I only wanted the standard cleaning that was covered by insurance. After telling her twice, she finally conceded to not give me the fluoride.

I understand it is a business and you want to sell whenever you can. But don't lie to your customers and try to charge them for a service that they didn't ask for. Very unprofessional.

Service there were great! Everyone is so nice! I was looking for a systematic dental solution. As a result, I was disappointed because what have been done to my teeth is not reversible. I just wish I have not gone to there first without a second opinion.

Got a broken tooth extraction that was broke and badly infected. Sharh was wonderful she explain everything and made sure I wouldn't feel any pain. I thought I would be in pain after the meds wore off but I didn't. Looking forward to see them soon for my cleaning

The staff was friendly, professional, and understanding. The oral surgeon was exceptional. I did not feel a thing until I was in the car heading home.
