The facility and technology this practice offers is cutting-edge. I don’t think I’ve had a better understanding of the health of my mouth before this visit. However, I felt as though the agenda of this dentist was to focus on performing “money-making” treatments that obviously were needed, but my tooth pain and the sole reason for my visit were unimportant. I feel this way because when I was called for my second appointment there was no mention of treatment for my main issue and a promised return phone call with the information I requested to resolve my dental emergency never happened. I even called back when I didn’t receive a call, was put on hold, and ultimately got disconnected after waiting several minutes. Perhaps the reason there was not a clear plan to fix my tooth is because another patient was allowed to interrupt my closed-door session with the consultant that went over my treatment plan after my dental visit. Mind you, this is a consultation that I waited 45 minutes for AFTER I saw the dentist.

I visited the Aspen dental clinic for the first time today. I had wanted to schedule a cleaning, but was told my 1st appt had to be an exam. My appt was at 8:15 but I wasn't seen until 9am so that was rather annoying. However, my xray technician, Tracy, was super friendly and efficient and had me done in no time. Kellie, my hygienist, asked if I'd like to get a cleaning done the same day so that was super convenient and saved me a separate trip. All in all, I would recommend.

First time visit in 3-4 years! Tracy was amazing! She made sure to explain step by step and didn’t rush anything! Most dental places I have been too rush a lot!

Called in at this location, I pressed number two since I am an existing patient, and the girl who answered the phone, her name was something like shakisha, and she was as rude as she can possibly be and had absolutely no problem interrupting me. DO NOT COME HERE,

It was my first visit to a dentist in 10+ years and the staff starting from front desk, to assistants to the doctors was extremely helpful and delightful. The service was exceptional and above and beyond any dental office I have been to. The doctor was very friendly and helpful during my procedure and took care of me quickly and professionally. I would highly recommend Aspen Dental to anyone.

I was looking for a new dentist. And I had a great experience here! The staff that worked with me was awesome and very attentive. Tracey H. was super nice and helpful. Dr. Ferreira performed a very thorough exam and offered some things to look out for with my pre-existing condition. The hygienist, Ms. Kelly, was wonderful as well. I am glad I found a place to receive dental care.

I made an appointment with Aspen Dental back in January because they could get me in on short notice. Most of the other dentists I contacted had about a 3 to 4 week wait. The day I arrived they provided me with x-rays and a quick inspection which included reading a bunch of numbers that were above 5 when they measured my teeth. Shortly thereafter they informed me I needed a deep cleaning procedure and a bunch of other treatments. Of course this procedure was going to be over $1,000 out of my own pocket. It was not covered by my insurance. They also informed me of a cavity that would need a root canal and it would be a separate procedure at an endodontist they recommended that of course would be more. They then tried to get me to go into a small room and sign paperwork to pay for the procedure. I left and figured I would get a second opinion.

I decided to wait and made an appointment with Complete Family Dental also in Phenix City. They were able to do a cleaning for me and also fix my cavity tooth with a filling rather than a root canal and Crown. My insurance also covered almost all of the procedures and total cost out of pocket was only $150.

Also there was no deep cleaning procedure necessary and the numbers they read when measuring my teeth were all three or less.

It should be noted that I did not inform Complete Family Dental that I had visited Aspen. I wanted to see what they would say to make sure I wasn't being ripped off and if I indeed needed a deep cleaning procedure or a root canal. Furthermore the dentist at Complete Family Dentistry fixed another filling free of charge because he noticed some decay building up behind that filling on the same tooth he was fixing already. I had my tooth fixed just this week. Definitely worth the wait.

I recommend getting a second opinion if Aspen tries to get you for their 'deep cleaning' procedures.

This place is a total scam and a ripoff do yourself a favor and don't go. I made an appointment for today to get a cleaning and I even made an extra trip before my appointment time for them to verify my insurance and I was told yes they take it. My insurance pays up to $1500.00 per year for dental. I get to my appointment and after waiting 35 minutes past my appointment time they take me back and do the x-ray then put in another room where a woman comes in and does a very brief look around my mouth and I am told I have no cavities but I do have a very bad build up on my teeth which is true. They also say I have mild periodontal disease which is probably true also but here is were it gets crazy. The tell I am going to see another woman to tell me what it will cost me. I said it shouldn't cost me anything my insurance pays up to $1500.00 to which they reply that the insurance will only cover a normal cleaning and since I need a deep cleaning I have to pay. Then they proceed to tell me that even with my insurance my cost for a deep cleaning will be anywhere from $2000.00 to $3500.00 I told them no way and that I thought they were crooks and walked out. After I left I did a Google search for what it should cost to have a deep cleaning done and it comes back the it should cost between $750.00 and $1200.00 meaning my insurance should have covered it. Now I have no idea how much they are gonna bill my insurance for what they did but I would bet it will take a huge chunk out of my $1500.00 of coverage so when I find a reputable dentist I now won't have the full amount available for that dentist. Do yourself a favor and don't ever go there the will rip you off.

Worst experience and will not recommend anyone visit this “money-making” establishment. They are more worried about making future predictions rather than fix the main issue of my visit. This dental office is very deceiving and if you’re a new patient coming in for “emergency” treatment; example to pull a tooth DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME LIKE I DID. They cannot assist on the same day but the front window says “emergencies and walk-ins welcome. It’s pointless and deceiving thinking you’re going to go in for exactly what you ask for and then in the end after waiting and doing X-rays you’d have to be scheduled for another day or be referred to another facility. This is why I say it is pointless going in for an emergency procedure while enduring immense pain. I have notified my insurance provider (United Concordia) about how they neglect their patients. Staff may be kind to patrons but their ability to do the NEEDED work is absolutely a false advertisement they sell to the public. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME CAUSE THEY DO NOT HELP WITH YOUR ACTUAL ISSUE AT HAND. THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD ROBBING BOTH SIDES, THE INSURANCE COMPANY AND THE CUSTOMER.
