been coming here for many many years! Megan is amazing! she's the office manager now so she doesn't get to visit with me :( but the rest of the staff is just as great! definitely would recommend Mint Dental!

I was very disappointed with the customer service. I came in ready for my appointment, and I wanted to negotiate the payment due which was going to be $370.00 for a temporary crown they were going to do. I was informed by the receptionist that she talked to customer service and I would have to pay the full $370.00 and the balance due when they put in
the permanent crown. I asked could I go home and get my medical cash card to make payment, and she said that I was already wasting time right now as we try to negotiate the payment. She said they could not send me back for the procedure to begin until I paid them. I could not believe what I was hearing, I could have died on the table back there, and so by taking payment upfront you are denying me the right to know if the service was O.K. or not. This is really totally unacceptable. The only call I received from them was a reminder call that I had an appointment. I felt bad for the receptionist who kept on trying to go back and talk to customer service, who in turn sent her back to tell me NO! on anything that I might have suggested as a negotiation. I never saw the customer service rep who was making all of the decisions. It was totally embarrassing to me, and the way I was treated. I do not recommend them to any friends or associates at this time.

While working in Alaska for the summer, one of my crowns came apart. I still had some warranty on it from my hometown dentist out-state. So, I needed a temporary crown. Mint Dental was recommended to me by a coworker. They helped me out on a Saturday and gave me additional cementing materials to take with me in case it came off. But that temporary crown lasted until I made it back to the lower 48 almost 3 months later. The location was great, very nice, comfortable, reasonably priced and I was treated very well by the staff. I would go back again!

I absolutely hate it when doctors/dentists treat you like their time is valuable and yours isn’t. I had to be somewhere at 12:30pm. They offered me an 11:50 appointment. I said I don’t know if that’s enough time to do the appointment and get to my next appointment. I told them when I made the appointment that I only had until 12:20 then I had to leave. I was repeatedly assured I would be in and out in 30 minutes. I arrived on time. I reminded them I had to leave at 12:20. I was in the waiting room for 10 minutes. Then I waited in the treatment room for another 20 minutes. Then I left because it clearly was not their intention to treat me at the agreed upon appointment time.

Careful using this office. While the hygienists are awesome and friendly, the billing side of the house is horrible. They like to drop insurances they except and do not tell you until after you receive a bill for outstanding balances. That is even after paying what the lady at the counter said was supposed to be your share after the work is done when you were in the office.

This is by far the best Dental Office in Anchorage. Dr. McNeil is outstanding. While looking at my X-Rays he discovered an abnormal mass in my jaw. He immediately referred me to a Surgeon and luckily the tumor that was removed was benign. There was concern it could have been cancer. Although benign, Dr McNeil’s attention to detail saved me from problems down the road as it had to be removed, but a discovery like this could save someone’s life. I came to see him for extensive dental work and had seen two other well known dental offices before my visit, to obtain quotes.
Neither one noticed the tumor! Same jaw, same X-Ray area, but they failed to see it. All they saw were $$ signs for the implants and were ready to get started ! Thank you Dr McNeil for your excellence. I found a new, permanent home for my dental care and can not say enough good things about this office.

Haven't felt the need to leave a review till today my dentist meelmeel I believe her name was, was amazing and really nice ive never had any problems with previous visits everyone is always great here but she is definitely the best I've had!

If you are looking for a Dentist, this is your place!! Warm, friendly enviroment and the Most comfortable I’ve ever been at the dentist. My daughter actually looks forward to going. From the moment you walk in the door, you are treated like family! I highly recommend Mint Dental!

Excellent dental care, 2 years gone by with no problems with my teeth, they are so comfortable i myself forgot to come back after a year to get them refited, the quality of care and communication is outstanding, so there is no fear of unexpected action, if you need work done Mint Dental is the place to go. First time after relocating here. I have a pretty big white jacket phobia, but it was all very calm here. I like the private room for cleanings, and the Dr. was informative. If you have insurance or are coming in for the first time, call ahead with your insurance and fill out the patient form from their website and bring it with you and literally you will go right in.
