FROM TOP TO BOTTOM THIS PLACE IS THE GO TO BEST PLACE IN TOWN!!! The entire staff at Mint Dental is absolutely phenomenal! Dr. McNeil is genuinely one of the best doctors in any medical field that I have ever encountered! He's knowledgeable, friendly, listens and helps patients to calm down who have dental anxiety. He has a way with patients that is uniquely superb to so many other practitioners. He really does care about his patients. This coming from a doctors daughter. I have spent my entire life around doctors, so I am very picky in my healthcare. The dental hygienists are kind, gentle, friendly and all around a pleasure to work with. The administrative staff is so organized and make everything smooth and easy from setting up your appointment through billing and checking out. Thank you to everyone at Mint Dental for being so amazing!

I want to preface my review by saying I used to HATE going to the dentist because I was always so nervous. My experiences at Mint Dental have really changed my outlook and I feel so much more relaxed when going into my appointments because of the care the Mint staff provided.

I have been a patient at mint dental for several years now. I have had surgery to have my wisdom teeth extracted, go every year for a teeth cleaning, and had retainers and whitening trays made.

Every time I go into the office I am greeted by the ladies up at the front desk who are always so sweet and very helpful before and after my appointments.

Sarah and Tonya have been my assistants every time and they are incredible and so knowledgeable. I was able to tell them all my concerns and they were able to answer all of my questions and calm my nerves. I trust them completely.

I see Megan for my teeth cleaning appointments and she is awesome! She is really great at her job. She is so personable and great with conversation. She tells me what she’s doing as she goes because the buzzing noises can be intimidating.

I see Dr. McNeil for dental work and he is the best dentist I have ever been to. I am originally from California and Dr. McNeil truly is the best there is. He is so thorough and you can tell he cares about his patients health and comfort. Dr. McNeil always comes in to talk to me after my teeth cleaning appointments and goes over my X-rays with me and discusses all my teeth and answers all the questions I have!

Dr. McNeil also performed my wisdom teeth extraction surgery and did such a great job! He worked fast and the surgery was clean. The best part is that I had NO postoperative swelling or pain. It was awesome and unexpected. I couldn’t have asked for better results. All post-op instructions were given to my sister and I was seen the next day for a post-op. They informed me the surgery went great and discussed all instructions for the next week.

Mint dental also does an incredible job making teeth whitening trays and retainers and getting them back to me very quickly, which is amazing!

I would absolutely recommend Mint dental to my family and friends! I would give this office 10 stars if I could!

I loved my first time experience here. The waiting room was very open and very clean. The receptionists, dental assistants, and dentist were very professional and had a good sense of humor.
I went in because my first molar had a crack in it and was infected. They took exams, set up my next appointment and sent me on my way. When I came back for my root canal I was ready to go. They sat me down and numbed me up, asked if I was comfortable, then proceeded to perform the root canal. I felt absolutely NO pain! The dentist went above and beyond making sure it was a safe a speedy procedure.
Today, my first day of recovery, has been with no pain or numbness.
I highly recommend going to Mint Dental for your needs. Very professional team of people. Thank you very much, Mint Dental!

I am new to Alaska so I wanted to be sure to get a good dentist up here. Well, Mint Dental is AMAZING. The staff were all so sweet and made good conversation! They were understanding and really listened to me. You can tell they really care about their patients. There building is very clean too! I definitely recommend this dentist office!

I called in ahead of time to let the receptionists know that I would be arriving 10 minutes late for my appointment due to work reasons. They were very understanding and able to accommodate.

After checking in, it wasn’t long before my name was called. I was shown to the exam room and shared a friendly conversation with the dental assistant about the nice weather and beautiful view of the mountains. I commented about how much I really like the massage chairs here. Yes, massage chairs. The dental assistant couldn’t turn on the massage function so she moved us to another room with a properly functioning chair. Totally unnecessary but much appreciated.

My time here was spent comfortably. The appointment went off without a hitch and then the friendly staff scheduled me for my next visit. I highly recommend Mint Dental. Thanks!

I just had my teeth cleaned and had a wonderful experience. The office is beautiful. All of the staff are warm, professional, super informative. Dr. McNeil took his time explaining everything and walking me through my x-rays. I've never had a dentist do such a thorough, comprehensive review and explanation of what's going on with my teeth with me before. This is an exceptional practice!

Good and very fast service. The young lady(Ruth) that helped my son was so kind and friendly and also, very understandable.. good staff too.. my son was excited about his experience at the mints dental office. I had been looking for a dentist that I liked for several years and finally found it here! I absolutely LOVE Mint Dental! I'm super comfortable with my dentist. He and his staff communicate what the plan is, work quickly and efficiently, and are friendly and welcoming from start to finish.

Ever since my first visit to Mint Dental, my idea of 'going to the dentist' has changed greatly. My time there has been great and will soon be life changing. Thank you to all the staff at Mint Dental, and a special thanks to Jamie for answering all my questions and for helping me be able to know whats in the days ahead. If your in need a place that your going to feel comfortable at, as well as somewhere that is going to be above and beyond your expectations, then I would definitely choose Mint Dental.

We have been referring people to Mint Dental for 7 years. Long story short, my husband was seriously injured in an accident. Due to his injury, his teeth and nerves became rotten. We worked with an incredible agency on the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska and they recommended Mint Dental. Due to his injury, he could not work any more. We contacted Mint Dental to inquire about the cost and the possibility of payment arrangements. Mint Dental has no problem taking each case to their financial department to discuss the possibility. The cost was lower then any other dental companies in Alaska. Then a wonderful thing happen, we were awarded a grant but not in the total amount of the cost of his dentures. We contacted Mint Dental with our news, we got transferred to the financial department and was giving the great news they would except the grant money as payment in full!! Not only that, this wonderful company did not charge us for any repairs, only shipping and delivery for 5 years. Each person you talk to at Mint Dental, make you feel important and they genuinely care. That goes from the receptionist to the dentists and all others in between. They go over and beyond to help each person and the work they do is fantastic. Done right and in incredibly time. We will never use any other dental company. We gave them 5 stars but we both agree it should be a 10. Thank you so very much Mint Dental.
