Mint Dental

I had all my wisdom teeth removed at Mint, I heard good things so I decided to give them a try. Huge mistake- I didn’t want to be put under for the procedure, but the doctor insisted saying “that’s the only way he will operate.” I should have trusted my gut and walked away. During the procedure I woke up and was aware of everything happening, drilling, pulling/yanking. I also ended up with dry sockets, on both my lower removal sites- I do not smoke, nor did I use straws. When I went back to have them looked at it my doctor was never available, in fact I saw a different doctor EACH TIME I WENT IN. I don’t even remember who removed my teeth because I only saw him during my initial consult, and briefly before I was put to sleep. After all the troubles I had, I was also left with holes where my gums never healed properly on all 4 of the removal sites. The only way to fix that would be to have surgery again. I paid a lot of money to have my teeth removed and at least have a better job done than what they did. Now I’m constantly plagued with food getting stuck in the holes in my gums until I decide I want to spend thousands more dollars to fix the screw up this dentist/dental office made.

They did a fantastic job on my teeth. Very professional and super clean office. I am very picky about my dentist and Mint Dental is the only place I will use in Anchorage.

BEST FACILITY EVER!!!!!
I called today about my son who had a piece of a tooth knocked completely off and terrified that I wouldn't be able to have him seen. Not only was he seen, but he was seen within two hours of my call. Then the billing office called me at work since I couldn't leave and did my son's post appointment needs over the phone. I have never had such great service from the time you enter the door until the time you leave; it is IMPECCABLE. The doctors and the staff totally supported me and my family today when I was so upset about my son's tooth. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of you. Who could ask for more???????

Fantastic dentist, dental assistants and hygienist. Dr Bowman and his team performed entirely pain free dental procedures on me that where pretty complicated and detailed. Best dentist in town!

I would easily give many many many more stars bar none. I have an extreme phobia about going to the dentist. It took me two appt no shows and three walk ins to finally make an appt I stuck with.
I WAS SCARED TO DEATH. Needless to say my mouth was a mess and way past due for an overhaul.. Enough about me.
I was recommended to Dr. McNeil specifically by three different people over about a three year span . I did research about the doctor and learned that all the dentist in this office have a minimum Ph'd level of training . I was impressed by this. Advanced training and continuing training are a must in a field that is so innovative. Dr. McNeil and his staff seem to work very well together and answered my many questions. They know what their doing and what outcomes to expect but I'm a blank page The doctor and his assistants stopped and answered my many questions. They are very kind, gentle and generous. This man has really set a good example to me and many others by showing us that having a vision, hard work. consistency and generosity pay off. I hope he aspires to become a leader in a direction of his choice. He deserves nothing but the best and utmost gratitude in my opinion. Paying our bills for his service are very necessary but really an understatement for what this man deserves.. Thank you everyone at Mint Dental for everything.

I prefer BTY dental. I started here but after rough treatment and billing errors, I found BTY dental 😀. My last follow up "appointment" consisted of only x-rays there was no treatment or exam. Watch out, these guys set me up, this "appointment" just to bill my insurance. They sent bills for service, after I paid in full at the appointment. I am happy at BTY dental😄.

Wow!? I had to fly in from a remote fish camp. I had a bad tooth down to the nerve. He discovered a previous crown was bad and an abcess was forming. He did not have the time to fix it. He patched me up and sent me back to work. I made it another 2 weeks before the abcess was too much pain to handle. I was flown home and have had 3 surgeries since to fix his hack job. Truly the stuff nightmares are made of. Very sorry I cannot afford insuramce you stuck up pompous. P.S. so far the 3 corrective surgeries have cost less than your 30 minute hack job, sorry excuse for a living having jack in the box dentist. Mr. Bowman. No thank you.

Been coming to Mint Dental for about 6 years and always have a great experience, people are so nice and professional.

Been here a few min and already comfortable. Have a bit of dental anxiety due to childhood dentist. My hygentist Mly was amazing. Made me feel welcome and comfortable. Highly recommended

They are amazing, professional and prompt, they got me in same day. Absolutely fabulous. Highly recommended for your dental needs .
