Dr Lowerie is a very caring dentist and there customer service is awesome !!!!
I recommend them they take care of my whole family ! They are also open on saturdays which is very convienent !

Everything about the dental work is and has always been great. My ONLY issue with AFD is the billing department waits until you are having your work done to run your insurance pre-authorization and doesn't tell you until after the work has been performed that you have run out of Medicaid benefits and have a co-pay. This happendh to me and my boyfriend both. Otherwise I highly recommend Advanced Family Dentistry.
UPDATE: Less then an hour after seeing this review Dr. Lowrie had his staff call to address my concerns about the billing. He saw to it that my co-pay was cleared out because I came in under the impression that where wouldn't be one. I will forever be loyal to Advanced Family Dentistry and Dr. Lowrie specifically. I could not recommend them more. They have done emergency and routine procedures for me and have always gone above and beyond. Especially for emergency work. They've gotten me in for same day and next day emergency appointments and are always kind and courteous. Advanced Family Dentistry has my vote for best dentist in Alaska, and I have seen a few. Thanks Dr. Lowrie!

I have a huge like beyond huge fear of the dentist and I have never NEVER felt more comfortable with a dentist office than I have here they are patient and caring and make sure you are more than comfy. I also have extremely sensitive teeth and they were more than wonderful I HIGHLY recommend this office to anyone!

· Searched and searched in Atlanta Ga area for a dentist I liked. I am very picky when looking for Docs of any sort. I want a clean office, a doc that is not just good at "doctoring" but great "chair"side manner, a friendly and helpful staff, easy to schedule appts, using up to date procedures and equipment...etc! After many trial and errors in GA, I finally found the office that was perfect....then boom....moved to Wasilla AK. Can you say disappointed? So back to square one. GOOD NEWS...It only took me one try, I found the perfect office the first go around. Cant ask for more when going to Dr Lowery's office and Advance Family Dentistry. I'm so happy that Dr.Lowrie has taken over this practice! I've been afraid of the dentist since I was tiny. Dr.lowrie took his time and was extremely patient with me. Even better we've fixed all my problems. Who knew a root canal wouldn't hurt at all!? His technicicians are just as kind and gentle. I highly recommend using Advanced family dentistry.
