If you are terrified of the dentist like I was, this is the place to go! They were very kind and did not dismiss my fears but instead addressed them with understanding. They assisted with some medications to help the anxiety and were slow and gentle during my procedure. They did not push or pressure me and allowed me to take breaks if needed. They have made me into someone who would avoid the dentist at all cost to a patient who will return for regular routine dental care. Thanks AFD!

If you are looking for a dentist, I highly recommend Advanced Family Dentistry. It had been awhile since my last visit to the dentist and I was nervous and knew I was going to need some work done. Dr. Arwood and my hygienist for my initial cleaning/exam, Taffy, made my my visit absolutely wonderful. I felt relaxed, welcomed, and calm. I needed to get a Root Canal and Crown the following week. Dr. Arwood and Peggy were phenomenal! Again, I felt relaxed, they answered any and all questions, they made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole procedure and I couldn’t be happier with the level of care I have received from this office. I am so glad that I found them because now I have finally found a dental office where I can look forward to future visits because their level of care is above and beyond!

Everyone, from the ladies at the front, to the hygienist, and Dr. Lowrie made me feel at ease and we’re so kind and helpful. They cleared my anxiety and I’m actually looking forward to my next visit! Advanced Family Dentistry is the only dentist that I feel comfortable with. They are always cheerful, and the dentist and his partner are always a pleasure to talk to. I have a very sensitive mouth, and while other dentists just pick away with no concern for my comfort, this dentistry took the time for the numbing solution to take effect, and to be gentle.. They were also able to offer a payment plan that fitted my budget, for at the time I had some financial difficulties. Thank you Advanced Family Dentistry!
