I can't say enough great things about Floss! Dr. Mehdizadeh does incredible work & the staff is always so friendly! After years of being embarrassed about my teeth, I now smile with pride. I highly recommend Floss!

I wanna start by saying that the Service that Dr. Mehdizadeh has been above my expectations. his staff is also incredibly . I was overseas for a couple of month and his staff always checked in and provided all the care I needed, my teeth are looking amazing it’s been an amazing progress over the last 7 months I would definitely continue to be a patient with Dr. Mehdizadeh very happy with the result would recommend to all my friends and family.

BEFORE CONSIDERING FLOSS, READ THEIR RESPONSES TO NEGATIVE REVIEWS! DO YOU REALLY WANT TO DEAL WITH A COMPANY LIKE THIS?

After a few years, my Clear Correct retainer ripped when taking it out of my mouth. I called Floss to inquire about a replacement, and spoke with Jennifer. She told me that Floss no longer works with Clear Correct, and that they would need to scan me and create a new retainer for $480. When I questioned the cost, Jennifer became defensive. When I told her that I was dissatisfied and would be updating my reviews accordingly, she became unprofessional and belligerent. I would not recommend that anyone go to Floss given that they don't stand behind their products and services, and if something goes wrong, the office manager will berate you. The worst part is that I referred a ton of people to Floss, including my wife, but never will again!

For anyone wondering about how Floss's staff treats patients, see their response below, and be sure to read all their responses on this site and other review sites. Imagine a dentist office that calls their patients "gross" and fights with people on Yelp and Google! Ask yourself if you want to be treated by people who react so viciously when something goes wrong, or if pressed to explain their pricing. Yes, they're all smiles when they're selling you services, but once they have your money, they'll turn downright nasty. Seriously, check out their unhinged and unprofessional responses to me and many other patients. Floss staff's own words say far more about them than I ever could.

As for Floss's reply, yes, I think charging a customer $500 for a retainer that ripped after a few years is excessive. Also, it's not my fault that Floss discontinued its relationship with Clear Correct after selling it to me and many other patients. My regular dentist called Clear Correct, and they have digital copies of all my records and can simply print another retainer. Floss is charging me $500 because they no longer have a relationship with Clear Correct, and can't get a reprint. Instead they want to scan me and create a completely new retainer. This kind of passing-the-buck was certainly not what was sold to me when I paid $5k for orthodontia with them in the first place. Gross, indeed! As for the crazy office manager comparing receiving orthodontic treatment to buying gas, that reflects how dismissive they are to legitimate concerns about continuing treatment. That a dentist office could compare major dental services to a simple one-time transaction says a LOT about how they view their patients. I wasn't looking for a discount, I was looking for basic courtesy, and hoping Floss would treat me fairly, given our history. But I guess it's all about getting that money for Floss, and then leaving patients to fend for themselves.

Dr. Kiyan, if you're reading any of these reviews, and you want to understand exactly what happened, feel free to give me a call. You always seemed to be a nice guy, and a good dentist, but your office manager is a nightmare. No one with her temperament should be dealing with patients.

I recently went to floss for the first time yesterday, and was extremely impressed! I generally dread going to the dentist and here I am excited to go back to get my teeth whitened. I got a root cleaning and felt no pain! I would strongly recommend anyone go here!

I've been scared of the dentist since I was a kid, so I kind of neglected my teeth growing up. I was told that Floss would change everything for me, and did it EVER! I have never felt so comfortable in a dental office. From the time I called to make an appointment to having my implants placed. They walked me through the process and explained it so even I could understand. For the first time in years,
I feel like I can smile again😁 Highly recommend this office for all things dental. Skilled staff and a great doctor.

I have been a patient of floss since 2018. Dr. Kiyan and his staff are truly one of the best. Clinically I have never met a dentist who explains things the way he does. He really takes pride in his work and it really shows in the quality. It's extremely sad to see so many fake reviews being left on this business which is why I felt obligated to let people know that those reviews are very far from the actual truth. Obviously the dentist isn't the most exciting experience for most people, myself included but the culture that Dr + team have created makes coming here fun and easy!
I got my teeth cleaned here by Amanda; she was super friendly, attentive, careful + gave some great recommendations on what to do going forward to help prevent problems + keep my teeth healthy.

Going to a new dentist isn’t fun and I didn’t know what to except. The workers behind the desk of medical facilities tend to be grumpy. However, at Floss I was given a greeting when I came. The staff is welcoming and are solid when it comes to customer service. Dr. Mehdizadeh did a great job by using pictures of my teeth to explain my dental issues and he put together a dental plan for me.

Dr. Kiyan is an artist. His entire staff is so friendly too! I look forward to going to the dentist and for someone with severe dental anxiety that says alot. The atmosphere and expertise here is unmatched. Best in San Diego!!!

For once going to the dentist doesn’t feel like an inconvenience. The office is beautiful and very clean. The staff is kind, and I never have to wait for my appointment. I’ve been going here for cleanings with Amanda who is awesome, getting teeth whitening and will also have bonding done with Dr. Kiyan. So excited to see the final outcome, his before and afters are a work of art. Best Dentist around!
