He tried to put a crown on my teeth without even examining it

I’m someone who is terrified of going to the dentist due to bad past experiences at other offices. It got so bad that I didn’t go to any dentist out of fear for years, and of course that just made my teeth worse. I finally got to the point where I had to take care of my teeth issues or I could potentially lose some. After doing some yelp and google searches and reading all the reviews, I made an appt with Floss. I cannot praise this team enough, the office staff, the assistants & Dr. Mehdizadeh are all amazing. They are patient, kind, understanding and super helpful. From the consult to the actual work being done they’ve made me feel comfortable and cared for. I still have massive anxiety stemming from bad experiences at other dentists, but the people at Floss don’t make me feel bad about it. I cannot recommend this office enough to everyone. Whether you’re good with going to the dentist or anything like me, scared to the point of letting your teeth get really bad, you need to go to Floss!

I've seen loved ones have terrible and painful experiences getting their wisdom teeth removed, so I waited until I was 22 years old and in a lot of pain before I decided/forced myself to get mine removed.

My mother told me about this place and I flew from Berkeley to San Diego just to get my dental work done. I was a bit nervous the night before, but as soon as I walked into the place I immediately relaxed. The ambiance and aesthetics are gorgeous, genuine and peaceful. The staff is friendly, intelligent and know what they are doing. I cannot express how much I dreaded and disliked dentists, but this is the absolute first time I have enjoyed and appreciated dentistry work.

My wisdom teeth procedure was over before I knew it. I probably asked Dr Mehdizadeh 4x if it was over and if he removed all 4 of my wisdom teeth, but each time I asked (and forgot shortly after, since I was still coming to from the general anesthetic), he answered yes kindly and patiently.

My family and I are very happy and grateful that there's no swelling and the pain is tolerable.

Thank you for taking care of me! See you next Thursday for treatment on all my other cavities 😆

He cost me one teeth for 3000$ while other places charge 400$. Never go there, worst ever

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Kiyan and the entire office. From the moment I stepped into Floss the entire team was welcoming and understanding. They came up with a treatment plan that was reasonable and financially feasible for me even as a college student. They have given me back my smile and my confidence and I could not be happier with the results. Thank you!!

I have always been petrified of the dentist and avoided going in as much as possible. The second I walked into Floss my perception was changed. I was greeted by the warm and welcoming staff in their inviting waiting space. When taken back I was excited to see bright colored walls and neon light signs making the space seem a little less intimidating. Dr. M was kind, sweet, and incredibly smart. He made the process enjoyable and kept me laughing during the cleaning. I felt like I was leaving as the best version of myself. I will never go to a different dentist, I've found the best and know there is no better. Highly recommended! Already recommended my friends and family.

I had the best experience by far in the dental office. Office is clean, front desk is very nice and welcoming. Melissa that took my X-ray very nice and pleasant lady. And Dr. Kiyan (hope spelled it right) is by far the nicest and very pleasant approachable dentist I've ever met. He explained everything about my teeth and what he sees in the X-ray. Definitely took the time to clean my teeth up, the longest a dentist that actually cleaned my teeth. Thank you so much!!! I will definitely for sure recommend floss to my friends and family, I actually did tell my bf about them already.. 😉

Dr. M and his staff were wonderful! Very accommodating and respectful. Really took the time to make sure I was comfortable and all my questions and fears were addressed. Highly recommend if you are afraid of dentists!

WOW!!! I totally hate going to the dentist but it wasn't until I walked into Floss's sincere and inviting atmosphere, that I finally realized why. I never had a great fear of getting dental work done, but rather I always felt a strong sense of phoniness (from my previous Dental office) and I always felt like they treated me like commodity rather than a person . Plus, they always tried to convince me to get expensive procedures done which I really did not need... gum grafting ...no way!!!!. Being a patient at Floss is a different experience from the moment you walk through the door. Dr. Mehdizadeh and Ryan have figured out how to make getting dental work cool, inviting and comfortable. From the moment Remy ( the sweet office puppy) runs out to greet you, to the comfy waiting space, the refreshments, and the gorgeous and modern office, you just feel so special! It's like going to an amazing spa but going to get your teeth done instead of a facial. My entire appointment ran smoothly, the doctor was on time, and they even had all my insurance paperwork ready for me. I fear writing this review in case they get super busy and I have to wait for months for an appointment, but really I want to see these guys succeed because their concept of service is amazing and I enjoyed my dental appointment 100%.
