Mission Valley Dentists

They are a great dental office. They are not condescending and pretty upfront with your patient care plan. During my bone graft I experienced a panic attack and the team made sure to make me feel well at ease before we continued the procedure. I have to see them every 3 months with zero complaints.

I was so extremely nervous, because my daughter is in the spectrum and is nonverbal. To say that Norma (dental assistant) and doctor Tan (dentist) did a great job with my daughter, would not do justice to how amazing they were. Norma was so patient during the X-ray and cleaning, making my daughter feel so comfortable, showing her everything she was going to do ahead of time. My daughter was able to do Her dentist appointment, and I was so thankful to find a dentist that my daughter could work with. The front office was also amazing. I definitely recommend anyone to come to this dentist.

I had my very first appointment with them and they were great! I had just recently moved to San Diego and they were able to fit me in early. I love how friendly and professional everyone was and they took such great care of me and my teeth! I was so nervous since I hadn’t been to the dentist in a while, but they made sure I was comfortable for every treatment. Lastly, I was very impressed with all of their technology. I will continue to come here to get my teeth cared for.

My hygienist Scalla was absolutely amazing. She not only cleaned my teeth properly and over the top, but also gave me the most welcoming, and comforting experience ever. Going to a dental office to not only receive top tier dental service + excellent customer service means a lot. Thank you scalla! Can’t wait for my follow up with her!

Dentist is okay. Location is convenient. Their billing dept is inefficient and crazy. Ended up with a collection agency after me for $172 that they( the dentists office) tell me I dont owe. So the front desk won't/can't take the money when I went in to pay in November because the balance in their system is zero, but their billing dept has since told the collection agency I owe them 172. So today ( late Jan ) collections agency phones me up and sends a letter . ... Saga continues.
So I called them up and it seems now they will send me an email to say I don't owe them anything and NEVER did owe the 172. I will then have to attach that email and upload it to the collection agency website to stop my credit rating getting hammered. Seriously folks.
Edit 20 Jan: email received and Elsie Lopez ( 5 stars for her customer service in trying to fix this issue) reassured me by email that the debt collectors have been informed that I do not owe them anything. Time will tell. In the mean time, I am changing this review from 1 star to 4 stars based on Elsie's response.. If this is not resolved and the debt collectors come after me at a later date anyway, I will down grade this rating again and will go back to my previous dentist, who is great, just not conveniently located for me! But hey, better to drive a bit further than having debt collectors chasing me for money I don't owe.

I went in because I needed a crown put in for a front tooth that had broken off. A lady named Pauline put in my temporary tooth. If any of you know what goes into this process, you know it is NOT easy and take a lot of skill to make it look like your original tooth. She knocked it out of the part though and it is very nicely secured until I get my new crown put in. Thank you PAULINE!

I recently had some work done here that I am happy with the results. Dr. Chilmeran is the best dentist I have ever had. As a child I fell on my face and busted one of my front teeth. It was bonded, but the two front teeth had went crooked in opposite directions and this made a gap that I never liked. Other dentist didn't offer a good solution to fix it and I couldn't get braces because I've had a broken jaw. Anyway, the bond fell out and I had to get get tooth fixed. Dr Chilmeran proposed that we put crowns on both front teeth and this would straighten out the teeth. I recently had this work done and am so happy with the result. Thank you Dr. Chilmeran! The rest of the team there was also very kind and helpful. I think that mvd has a bad reputation from the past because some of the team in the past gave me some disappointing advice or just kinda seemed shady; I did experienced that myself. I went back because I always thought the hygienist I had there was very good. It had been a while since I had been there and I had a very good experience with their current team. I would recommend.

Doctor Aria, his assistants Ahi and Paola, and all the staff have been great for me and my family.
We have been their customers for the last 4 years.
They are very professional in all matters and I recommend them.

I went to this office through a friend’s referral. She had recommended Scalla as my hygienist and I was so beyond satisfied with my experience here. I learned through my experience with Scalla that booking with a well-experienced hygienist is just as important as booking with a well-experienced dentist. First time patient at this office and my visit went super good! The dentist was friendly and my hygienist Scalla did an absolutely amazing job on my teeth. I’ve never had such a good cleaning!!!
