Yoshelin was super helpful since the beginning of my visit here. She helped me to transfer my treatment from Madera to Yuba City and I am so thankful for that. Everyone was so nice here.

Horrible unprofessional service every time I've been here. First experience I walked in as an emergency appointment patient because I was having extreme tooth pain but I didn't have insurance. When I made the appointment over the phone the lady said that I would be able to get an exam and x-ray for free and there would be no up front costs. Arrived for the appointment. They told me that I would get the exam and x-rays for free but that I would owe them over $200 for things they couldn't explain. They were snappy and unprofessional with me during the entire conversation. They would not provide me any information with why they were going to charge me. So I left the appointment because I was not prepared or in a financial situation to pay that amount of money at that time.

In my own time I was able to qualify for insurance assistance and was finally able to return with insurance. This time I made an appointment and waited for over 2 hours in the lobby before being called back for my appointment. I was not told until I was in the seat to take my x-rays that the dentist had left and they would not be able to actually complete my appointment today and therefore would only be able to complete my x-rays and would have to reschedule me for another time a week later. All of this happening while I'm experiencing extreme dental pain that needs to be addressed as soon as possible.

I follow through and show up on the day and time that is on my appointment card for my appointment. Only to be told that no appointment was made for me and that they didn't even have record of my x-rays. The entire time I've interacted with this office staff has been unprofessional, rude and unmotivated to assist patients. They have no empathy and no care for the people they are serving and only care about the paychecks they are going home with. The lobby is always gross and dingy looking. And some of the employees don't look very hygienic themselves. I am completely flabbergasted that this business is still even in business and I'm not sure how much longer they should be due to the fact that they have no regard for the people they serve and are constantly causing probably more problems than they are helping. I have never experienced this much unprofessionalism in a medical or dental environment.

I have come here for a couple of years, each time hoping my experience will be better. Today was the last day for me.

Each time I have waited at least an hour after my appointment time to be worked on. Then when I am, half of the visits they did not do what was on the schedule to do.

They treat you like cattle moving through the process. The dentists spend minimal time on you and would have missed a cavity if I had not mentioned pain. Then they called for more x-rays and found it.

The dental assistant was so rough, using extra thick floss and jamming it in between the teeth. My teeth are tight in the mouth, and I have never had such a painful experience in someone flossing me. I am consistent in appointments, and this is the worst treatment I've ever received... I also rarely leave reviews. It's just so bad I had to warn others.

It has been unprofessional, impersonal, and painful.

The dentist are always on top of explaining my treatment plan and treat within a timely manor. Appointments are always available upon emergency which I’ve needed more than once. They are kind and professional. I’ve been going to western dental my entire life and will always continue to go back and my family as well

AVOID WESTERN DENTAL AT ALL COSTS!!! I'm writing this review as I sit in a patient room at 1:30pm still waiting for my appointment to start that was supposed to be at 11am...not only have i been waiting for over 2 hours but they informed me that the appointment wasn't scheduled for the root canal that i asked for specifically, its for a deep cleaning...how does one mistake a root canal for a deep cleaning? The receptionist blamed me for making the wrong appointment when I asked for an emergent root canal because its causing pain and then said i should have confirmed that the appointment was for a root canal when they called to confirm, except they never called to confirm, I just got a text reminder. Some of the staff are nice and feel bad but it doesn't make up for the terrible service that you get as a patient. I now have to wait for 2 patients ahead of me because I need this tooth fixed so i can eat because I am 7 months pregnant and losing weight when I should be gaining or maintaining. This pregnancy is wreaking havoc on my teeth and I just need someone to take it seriously and help me. Not blame me for a mistake I didn't make. I rarely leave reviews, and even more rarely leave bad reviews but this place isn't worth your time. I honestly don't know how they haven't been shut down.

Carmen was truly amazing at my first today at western dental. She went over and beyond to assist me and showed sympathy to my needs and my frustration. Carmen saved the day and seriously she's the best and so knowledge. Carmen restored my faith in western dental. Staff must follow her lead. Thank you to the manager Lou for his assistant as well. He's amazing in got me in right away understanding and feeling my pain and frustration.

Husband went in needing a tooth pulled. They said the needed to pull 2, do bone grafting, and put in a temp bridge, and do a root planing. We agreed and paid them the $4500 they asked for. They pulled 4 teeth without consultation, no bone grafting, no root planing. We have been asking for a refund of our money and they want to treat our refund as a settlement. Wish we had never stepped foot in that place.

Brianna took my x-rays and was wonderful! She was polite professional and very gentle. I am terrified of the dentist office and she put me at ease. She was great!

The ladies up front were nice. But the lady orthodontist here is bad news. They closed their doors during covid then blame patients for not coming in during that time, they canceled all the appointments with no follow ups and no reschedule. 4 years wasted waiting for them to provide reasonable care. Appointments were checkups, no action taken, no dental care. Then finally they hired an aged racist lady orthodontist who refused service on a scheduled appointment for no reason other than racism.

Great experience as a first-timer. I barely waited to be helped when I checked in. The whole staff was great. I especially loved how the doctor’s assistant Monica took care of my whole visit. She was very kind, friendly, and helpful.
