I have to say I am sad to have to rate this a one star but here I go. The reason is because of the problem with an appointment in that office. I have gone there three times and every time I am waiting 45 or more minutes before I am seen. I go in the 15 minutes early for paperwork or whatever then wait 30 plus minutes up to an hour on one of the three appointments. I know people say if you don't like it go somewhere else, so I will. The only reason I would give it the one star is because when you do see the dentist he is good at his job. If you have the time to wait for an uncertain amount of time he will do a good job. I just can't handle that on top of the anxiety of being at the dentist in the first place.

I went in for an exam and Xrays back in June. They informed me of the cavities I had and my wisdom teeth which would soon need to be removed. To schedule my wisdom teeth extraction, I had to visit the oral surgery office on academy. Where they took more Xrays, and went over some of the basic information with me. At the end, I went to schedule my fillings.
Nobody told me that they would only be doing 3-4 of my 10 cavities on the first visit. My fillings are scheduled for tomorrow, September 10. So I called today because my parents (who are paying) asked me how much they would be needing to pay. So I reached out, and I got in touch with a woman named “Caitlin” (unsure of spelling).
At the beginning of our conversation, she seemed perceptive and understanding and like she was TRYING to help. But this went downhill very quickly once she told me she was entirely unable to give me any of the information I was requesting. The service is tomorrow. Nobody told me which teeth were getting done, how much they would cost, when I would have to get the others done, nothing. And “Caitlin” fought me tooth and nail not to inform me of anything else.
She claimed my doctor was not present, so she just didn’t know. So when I asked her if I could speak with another doctor who could go over my chart with me, her response was, “nope they’re with clients right now and they won’t be able to speak with you today.” So I’m left with no information, no cost, no idea where these fillings are even going in my mouth, no idea when I’ll need to get the rest done.
They scheduled me for one apt. If they knew I would need more than one apt, how come nobody communicated that to me? Why am I not finding out until the evening before the first appointment? Rather unprofessional and lazy in my opinion. I just kept telling her, “I don’t understand how this was not communicated to me, or why.” The only real response I got from “Caitlin” was “I don’t know.” She seemed to become pretty haughty and inconsiderate.
Finally she becomes so irritable she tells me, “sir, if you want to just schedule it with another dentist that’s fine too.” As if to deter me from comfort dental. The entire interaction was incredibly bizarre and frustrating. I work in customer service for a living, retail to be precise. Had I had the tone “Caitlin” had with me on the phone, or had I responded like she did, I would have been written up immediately. I’m not sure she realizes how rude she sounds on the phone.
The vibe she gave off over the phone was not, “oh sure let’s find out! Or, I don’t know but if you give me a moment I can try to find out!” None of that. It was, “I don’t know and I don’t know who does. No you can’t talk to someone else because I already told you what you needed to know, which is nothing.” That is the tone I got from her, as if I don’t have enough on my plate right now.
I would really appreciate it had someone INFORMED ME, the CLIENT, what was going to be taking place on September 10. nobody articulated to me what they were going to do, nobody really told me anything. And when I told “Caitlin” Over the phone, her response was, “well I was here the day you had that appointment, I was the one who checked you out, and you never asked which fillings were getting done.” Uh yes I did, I asked the woman who did my xrays, she said at the time she didn’t know. Why are you trying to tell me what I said?
I also told both of them multiple times each that I was terrified and have never had anything like this done before. So how do I know which questions to ask with it being my first time? I assumed between then and now, September 9, I would have been informed as to which teeth were getting fillings, when I can come back for the rest, etc. TRULY HONESTLY like they don’t even want my business, and depending on tomorrow’s service I might just go with another
dentist altogether. What a massive headache.
I am now sitting in the office 40 mins after my scheduled apt. Hardly any of the people behind the counter are wearing masks. In a DENTAL environment. Covid aside.

My family & I have routinely had all of our dentist work done here. I usually am lucky enough to get my favorite Dentist Dr Edwards!
I only lowered the star because I love this dental office in general but dentist’s I’ve gotten when mine was unavailable definitely would not have made me want to return again; mostly due to my high anxiety & their complete lack of compassion for their patience. But overall staff is very kind & great at helping with questions!

Took my husband there today for a walk in because he was in excruciating pain, the girl dezeree at the front desk was so professional and reassuring, she made my husband feel at ease. He is so terrified of the dentist, Dr. Pini was professional and very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. We definitely recommend this office. They are called comfort dental for a reason!

I have received excellent care at Comfort Dental by Dr. Pini and many excellent Dental Hygienists. Today I got Shirley, who showed me kindness while expertly removing some very stubborn plaque. The new office looks and feels clean and is bigger, too.
You will like this practice. I sure do.

My wife went and had a routine filling done. Her face was black and blue for over a week. I had just X-rays done and my mouth was destroyed for two days. We will not be returning.

Dr. Pini and Dr. Mack, I've been alternating treatment between these two doctors for about 5 1/2 years now. They are fabulous at the work they do, from fillings to implants. When starting treatment they let you know about options and cost in advance, so no surprises occur. They make sure to answer any and all questions before moving forward. The work after is remarkable and words cannot describe the quality. Definitely can tell they are doing what they love. If I could give them more than 5 stars I definitely would!

We scheduled an appointment and came in 15 minutes before time. A man came in after us 3 minutes later with the same appointment time, and another man came in, a walk-in, 10 to 15 minutes after us. The walk-in came in after us and left before us after 45 minutes of his arrival while my husband was finally seated 20 minutes later, drugged up for his oral surgery, and had to sit in the dentist chair for over an hour and a half after we watched 4 walk-ins, who came after us, come and go.
We spent 2 hours in there for what THEY quoted as a 45 minute procedure. The only thing positive was how they tried to make my husband comfortable.
