My daughter, who is 7, was very anxious/scared when we arrived. She was calm, not causing a scene. That is, until the dentist came in. She seemed kind until she touched a loose tooth in my daughters mouth and it hurt which made my daughter cry. This caused the dentist to scold my daughter. This could have been a great opportunity for her to just simply say “Im sorry I hurt you, I will try to be more careful”. Instead she used to Opportunity to make my daughter even more uncomfortable. Not to mention, when she saw my daughter needed a bit of work done on her teeth, she looked at me and told me to “do better”. The entire experience has made us skeptical of taking our daughter back. It all just felt like a business transaction (which I understand to a point, it is) instead of trying to HELP.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Emerald Coast Dentistry! Dr Sutton and her crew are amazing! My son is 10 and has really crowded teeth. We’ve had to do multiple extractions and he still isn’t afraid of the dentist! It didn’t start out that way. We live in Santa Rosa Beach and about 45-50 minutes away, but were having a hard time finding a pediatric dentist that wasn’t impatient and that didn’t terrify him. A friend recommended Dr Sutton and we couldn’t be more pleased with her and her staff. The drive is totally worth it! Love those girls!

I went for my 6 month cleaning and Jennifer was pleasant and efficient and did a great job as always. The entire staff is great and it did not hurt at all. I recommend ECD to anyone who wants a wonderful dental experience.

Exceptional service, clean establishment and phenomenal professional staff. My experience has always been amazing and I’ve always felt confident that my special needs son dental hygiene is excelling. He is sensitive to fragrance and strong smells and the staff go extra miles not to wear perfume and unplug all fragrance during our visits.. truly it’s such a blessing to experience such caring people. Ms. Angie treats my son as if he’s her son and is very attentive, patient and kind as she cleans every spot of plaque.. she’s amazing. In addition, Dr. Sutton is caring and encouraging very personable. Best staff and the experience honestly words could never express our gratitude. I want to say as a parent with a child with autism, Dr. Sutton, Dr. Watson and the whole staff were amazing with my little guy. I will be honest, I was nervous, scared and almost canceled his appointment. I am thankful I did not, they were fantastic. Caring, informative, and had my sons best interest and health as their number 1 priority. They made me and my son, feel so comfortable days prior to their services and checked on him multiple times afterwards.

I've been using Emerald Coast Dentistry for over 5 years and have never been disappointed in their service. Their staff is great, from the very first day, they made me feel like I was family. You would be hard pressed to find another practice that is as friendly or dedicated to meeting your dental needs

Dr Sutton and her staff are amazing. They eased my fear of the dentist and past experiences I have had. Mind you the appointment was for my 6 year old, everything was informative, she went through treatment plans and options, very VERY kid friendly. I can't emphasize enough how amazing they are and how impressed they left me.

I scheduled an appointment because I thought I had a cavity and was afraid that I may need more dental work done. I started off nervous because my last visit at the dentist office went terribly wrong. That dentist had a list of major surgeries to be done. I just had to get a second opinion. Dr. Sutton put me at ease because she was so pleasant and didn’t treat me like I was made out of money. I walked out feeling confident of her and she reassured me of the problem I had. I felt comfortable enough to enroll my son. Thank you!
