JR Dental Care - Normandy: Jacksonville's Comprehensive Dentists

I've contacted this place for an extraction and talked with one of the receptionist named Marisol. She was very polite and helpful. She told to come right in and scheduled me a same day appointment. I was able to be seen by Dr. Vu who was very kind and attentive. She was also patient with the new training dentist assistant Shayla. I will be returning even though my insurance is not accepted here. Everyone was polite and friendly. The atmosphere was clean and welcoming as well. Thank you again for a great experience!

I am disappointed in myself for not knowing about this place earlier. This is no doubt the best dentistry I have been to. The place is very clean, and the holiday decorations and staff really uplift your mood. I needed to remove my wisdom teeth ASAP, but I know during Christmas break, it’s almost impossible. However, they still squeezed in time for my consultation, and provided the earliest time possible. The extraction took less than an hour, which I am surprised, because I have driven my brother for his at another place which I waited nearly two hours for. Even better, I did not have to be unconscious and, since my family have their own schedules, I did not need to bring someone with me. Dr. Mahan is a friendly and responsible doctor! Just seen him today for a checkup on how my gums are healing, Dr. Mahan was very kind to advise one last follow up appointment. Thank you guys so much!

These are the nicest, friendliest, most accommodating people you could ever ask for. I needed a broken tooth taken care of. The dentist pulled it, and placed a bone graft and stitches the same day I was seen. It was completely painless. They are also very reasonably priced, as I am without dental insurance. Thank you so much for being so kind and welcoming! I will be back and recommend all of my friends and family!

I have just started going to JR Dental for my dental needs, but so far I am very pleased with my experience with the staff and Dr Gonzalez. I especially like the fact that they offer a dental plan that provides a discount for routine procedures. During my last visit Yvonne assisted the dentist. She was very upbeat, friendly and thorough. Dentist appointments can be unnerving, but her kind demeanor made me feel very comfortable.

The overall experience is always a great time. Considering it's a dentist visit after all. From the moment you walk in the door you're greeted with a smile. The staff is courteous and professional. They take care in ensuring your comfortable throught the visit , as well keeping you informed on the steps taken and reasoning on why a procedure is needed. I always leave feeling like my smile just received a good polish and shine. 😃

THE BEST DENTAL OFFICE IN JACKSONVILLE! I had a clean up done by Ms. Rose. SHE IS THE BEST!!! She was very sweet and professional. I was attended very quickly. After 2 LONG years the pain I had was gone instantly after the clean up. Everyone who works here is very competent and knowledgeable. Their exams are top notch. They told me everything that is wrong with my teeth. I was correctly diagnosed. This dental office is very affordable for those who do not have insurance. Five Star Experience. Been a long time from last dentist visit and they made everything as smooth as possible and set up a plan for moving forward. Everyone I spoke with was friendly and genuinely cared about my experience. I would highly recommend and we be a repeat customer for all dental needs.

First of all, the staff up at the reception are so sweet and have great customer service skills. Maria cleaned my teeth and she did an outstanding job! She was so funny and also made my visit feel fun. Also, she educated me about how to take care of my teeth at home. Elizabeth took my x-rays effortlessly:) My husband goes here and I will continue my business here! 10/10!❤️

I had a tooth extraction today and my experience was excellent! My dentist was Dr. Gonzalez and her assistant was Mrs. B. They were both absolutely wonderful and friendly, helpful and informative. All of the other staff was friendly as well. I highly recommend this office for your dental needs!

“They put up with me” I have had a dental phobia since childhood and didn’t go the dentist. My wonderful husband convinced me to just try and I have been a patient of Dr Gonzalez ever since. I appreciate their understanding of this ‘disorder’ and now that I have built up trust, I would revert back to not going if something ever happened. GOD bless this clinic!
