I called to schedule an appointment with the periodontist for a second opinion on recommended gum surgery. They told me they would call within the month with a date when the visiting perio was available since she visits once a month. No one called. I called back the following month and made an appt but was told I had to see the regular dds before seeing a specialist, which I did.
When I finally did see the periodontist, it was recommended that I not have reconstructive gum surgery but have 3 different teeth pulled and get a partial denture (flipper). It seemed like a better prognosis but when I asked for my insurance coverage for the procedures, they couldn't provide it on the same day and would email it to me. I waited one week. no email, and called them back on the status. The office told me that since an implant was part of the recommendation, insurance wouldn't cover it. I asked for the coverage on the other work (extractions and partial denture), but was told they didn't inquire about that. So they would resubmit and let me know. I asked that someone contact me with a decision that day or I would need to speak to the manager. 15 minutes before the close of business, I received a call from the office admin (who was the manager) saying I would need to see their dentist for the other work. I already have a dentist and just wanted the periodontal opinion. So, no thanks. They are very disorganized with poor follow through.

Awful customer service! We overpaid for treatment and are owed $3,045 as a refund. This office has been telling me that they are refunding the overpayment for over 4 MONTHS and has continually stated that the payment would be reimbursed within 2-10 days. It has now been ongoing since July 2021 with NO refund. Despite multiple requests via phone and email, they have not done the right thing and reimbursed the overpayment owed. We will be forced to seek legal action because of this. AVOID THIS PRACTICE!!!!

Dr. Lemus treated me treated me for a problem I had with a crown. She was very thorough and professional. She answered all my questions completely took care of the issue I had with my crown. I give her my highest recommendation.
Tera was the technician who prepped and fitted my crown. She explained in detail every step of the procedure. I felt like she really cared about my well-being. I think she is truly professional.

Very pleased with my cleaning/treatment/purchase (OralB iO), I was very insecure about my smile and the coloring of my teeth recently until I had my appt w/ Martha. I didn’t really pay attention to the color of my teeth until I got home and brushed the fluoride away... I’m so thankful for her being so meticulous, thorough and as gentle as she was with my cleaning.

I cannot go on enough about how fabulous the patient care, dental work, and overall experience is at Viera Modern Dental. Cynthia (office manager) is the best along with the rest of the amazing staff. Dr. Lemus and Dr. Raiken put me completely at ease for my first root canal, explained everything while it was happening, made me laugh, had some nice jams playing too 😄
