Had to have a wisdom tooth pulled and the dentist place was amazing! Dr. Micheal Swindasz and his nurse were incredible. They made you feel comfortable and Dr. Swindasz was gentle while pulling it. I will defently be back.

I recently relocated to the Ocala area a few months ago and had not gotten around to getting a Dentist yet. I woke up this morning with a terrible tooth ache ( the debilitating kind) and had no idea who to call. I googled dentists in the area and Aspen dental popped up. So I called and explained my dilemma and was told they closed at 1:00pm and the soonest appointment was AUGUST something. So I continued my search and found The Dentist Place. The first thing I noticed was a live person ( very pleasant I might add) answered the phone ( unlike Aspens automated answering), I again explained my dilemma, and because it was already 11:00 am, asked if they could squeeze me in later in the day, ( there open until 5:00pm) . What I heard next " blew me away". The voice on the other end asked if I could be there by 11:45 ? I quickly agreed. When I arrived I was greeted by a pleasant receptionist, who handed me the necessary paperwork to be filled out. No sooner had I finished my paperwork, the dental assistant called me to treatment area. Within 15 minutes of my arrival , I was sitting in the dentist's chair. The dental assistant was very understanding of the pain I was in and took a couple xrays , very painless and professional, then she took a couple of pictures with what looked like a pen (state of the art equipment). By 12:15 the dentist walked into the room. Dr. Swindasz addressed the pain that I was in and reviewed the xrays and photos with me. I had apparently ruptured my root in the affected tooth and it needed to be removed. He explained the process in a professional and easy to understand manner, prescribed antibiotics for the inflammation, a couple of days of pain medicine and had his assistant schedule the removal of my tooth. The office administrator came into the room and plainly explained the costs associated with the procedure after insurance. WOW WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE. I was on my way out the door and back to work by 12:35 pm. I have found my new dentist. I would recommend this TEAM to anyone who wants the local family feeling, rather than the corporate dentist mills out there. Thank you staff for being Human.
