Update: after years with them, I had to change dentist. The office canceled my appointment with very short notice twice on a row. It is difficult to get on their schedule for anything sooner than 3 months, and for them to cancel on me so easily just doesn't seam fair. On one occasion it was because my hygienist was going to be out of town, and the second time because the dentist had decided to no longer work on the day of the week when my appointment was setup for, both situations that I believe offered a bit more foresight than a day or two if I had been on schedule 6 months prior. Please see below for my experience with them prior to this.

I love these guys! I've been going for over 5 years and never had any issues. The dental professionals are great and the office staff is great. Always pleasant, always in and out, true problem solvers. Also, very cool technology.
I gotta keep ranting about them. Beth was amazing. So knowledgeable, helpful and kind. Kudos to Debbie, the office manager.

Great staff and services! Evelyn was superb!—In the past.
However, today I had altercation w/one of the dentists. I felt very uncomfortable w/his comments regarding antibiotics )2000 mg) needed before cleaning even though they had cleaned my teeth Dec 2021. Thinking he had left the treatment room before saying good bye or sorry about the policy I explored and used profanity. But before he harshly said to find another dentist. The hipótesis is just that because I failed to read any major outbreak. We. Have our moments but I will not entertain that office’s inefficiency as my wife has had problems there, too. I have been w/them for several years. No more. There are options out there.

Horrible experience with the front desk.
1st it takes them for forever to pick up phone. I had to call at least 5 times to speak to someone 2nd I had to wait over 3 month to only have my appointment cancel after a provider left .they were unwilling to help me out knowing I work in the medical field and I just can’t leave my job
3rd they call me 1 day before my appointment to tell me they needed recordé from my previous appt when though I asked to when I 1st made the appointment. I was informed that my old dentist office was a sister office only to find out a day before my appointment that it wasn’t.. when I tried to called back to get them to fax over a request , again no one pick up the only until after my 5 call. At this point I was so frustrated I cancel my appointment. And girl didn’t even try to correct it . Simply said oh I’m sorry. I’ll cancel . Worst customer service. Now I have 3 more month at a different Dentist office. Won’t recommend at all. This office doesn’t car about they’re new patients only they’re established ones

The Dentist Place is amazing!
I have never left a review before, but I honestly want everyone to know about Dr. Perez and Stacey his assistant, they are awesome, they explained the procedure every step of the way and they were kind and considerate! Not a fan of going to the dentist but I won’t fear going back for another appointment, I have finally found a great dentist!

My dad found this place for my mom who was in need of a dentist awhile back. She always has enjoyed her experiences with this place. Recently I needed to see a dentist and searched my insurance plans to see if they were listed and taking new patients. I am happy to say I am a happy patient with this place. They’re extremely friendly and knowledgeable and knows what they’re doing for their patients. I have not experienced any pains in my visit from any dental work done which is a huge bonus in my book!

Everyone at this office is great! Staff makes you feel comfortable and they’re super friendly. Care is great as well. Would recommend to anyone looking for a dentist in Ocala. Office is nice and has free coffee :).

I can not say enough nice things about this dental office. Everyone is so friendly and professional. My appts are always on time I never have to wait. Thank you for the exceptional care. Especially to Tamika today. We had a lot work to do and she was explaining everything as she worked. I am So happy I choose this office for my dental health. Thanks again to everyone!

As usual, our visit at The Dentist Place was a pleasant experience. I take all three of my children there and not only is everyone professional and polite, they take really good care of my children. We have been going there since my son was 5. He is now 19. Thank you all for being so amazing.
Updated 5/5/22: My 12 yr old had a cleaning today which was very uncomfortable for her. She has braces that are new and bc of her not doing her job she also had some inflamed gums. The dental hygienist, I wish I got her name, was absolutely wonderful. She recognized how uncomfortable my daughter was and made some changes to how we would get her cleaning done. It’s patient care like this that once again makes me say this dentist office is just amazing. I’m so thankful for them and how they take care of my children.

Excellent and accommodating staff. My husband had a toothache, and they were able to get him in on CHRISTMAS EVE to try to make him more comfortable for the holidays. I spoke with Andi on the phone to make an appointment and she was so kind and helpful. My husband said Dr. Perez was very nice and concerned about his comfort the whole time. When he left he already felt some relief in that tooth. I will be making appointments for my boys and I as well for our cleanings soon. A huge thank you to Dr. Perez and his staff for making it so my husband could enjoy Christmas without so much pain.
