Lisa at the main desk is wonderful and explained alot about the charges. Dr. Perez was patient with my extraction and how he handled the crowding of my mouth. The communication of this entire dentist office is phenomenal and i recommend this place to anyone who needs anything from a cleaning to an extreme extraction.

My son had dental work done without my permission. I left him in the office for a cleaning and he left with 8 sealants that I didn't agree on. I was not contacted by the office at any point to get my permission. Their explanation was that he needed them and it was free ( covered by my insurance) . A month later I get a bill for $116. I called in and spoke to someone and was told that a manager will call me back ( I was told that before, when I went back to the office on the day of the visit). Nobody ever called. Now I got the bill for the second time. I'm contacting the Board of Dentistry and BBB and my insurance company as well, too let them know about insurance fraud. Beware of them pushing services on you so they can make more $$$. I don't recommend them and for sure not going back!

New hygienist this visit. Felix. He was nice and did a good job. But he had the sniffles and although he wore a mask and rubber gloves, I don’t want someone in my mouth if they have the sniffles. I don’t want the sniffles too.
In addition, I’ve only had 1 dentist, Dr.Winterman, for about 9 years and during that time, I’ve had about 4-5 hygienists. I don’t like that frequent turnover. I wish you would figure out what you need to do to reduce your hygienist turnover rate.

I have been going to The Dentist Place of Ocala for years now. I have always enjoyed my appointments. Never had issues. Fantastic personnel, pleasant demeanors always. Shatara has been my hygienist for quite awhile now, and is awesome!

Hey guys , let me share my experience at the Dentist Place .The staff was absolutely amazing ,helpful answering every questions I had. Dr. Swindasz, was available prompt and I was able to have my front flipper tooth for my 20th anniversary vacation.!!; In one day guys!! The fitting was perfect . Thank you to all the staff members that help my situation. Go meet the team they will definitely take care of you and make you feel special..

I went for a cleaning and was told I needed deep cleaning around one tooth and my cost would be $30. after insurance. I got a bill for $170. ($200. total) because my insurance denied the claim. My insurance asked the claim be resubmitted with a better explanation, which was done, and the claim was denied again. This service should have been preapproved but I wasn't given the option or advised of the possibility it wouldn't be covered. I called the office and was told I am responsible for the entire amount because "after" the procedure was done I was signed an estimate for crowns that needed to be done and they included the special cleaning in it. Beware of trickery and deceit with this office.
