Serene Dental

I initially went to this office when it was Dr. Anderson. Dr. Anderson is amazing and honest. However, the other dentist that run this practice day to day leave a lot to be desired. I stopped going here and began paying out of pocket at another dentist for honest work. I changed my review due to the poor customer service and outright dishonesty I received at my last visit.

Don’t be fooled by the reviews like i was. I went there to get a cleaning done. They did the exam and she knew i had no insurance and they said i needed deep cleaning and three crowns! I told her i need only cleaning to get my Invisalign to be taken off by my orthodontist, she said it’s not going to do me any good. Anyways i said ok let me think about it since deep cleaning is 500$!! And all she cared about was selling me the deal they have to pay 179$ each year. They charged me 50$ for the exam! And it’s 90 something for the cleaning anyways!!! When i said why she said you got a full exam! Forget about the 50$ because all they care about is money. The next day i asked them to send me my xrays (that i paid for ) she sent me one i called three times and she kept making excuses and she sounded not happy with me seeing other dr.
The other dr said i don’t even need deep cleaning and the fillings are ok no need for a crown! So keep your money in your pocket and avoid these greedy people.

I have been a patient at Serene Dental for several years now. I haven’t had any complaints until now. Let me start with the beginning...I am always pleased at how quickly I am seen. The front office staff is friendly and I am pleased with how the office is clean. At the time of my appointment I am made aware that my previous doctor is no longer with the practice. Ok I can understand that. I meet a new doctor Dr. Westres. Right away I don’t get a good vibe. His assistant is friendly, and patient. Can’t recall her name. Mind you she does most of the work. This doctor just came in an immediately numbed my tooth. No forewarning. To see that long needle coming in without giving a heads up. I was taken by surprise. He drills and is so forceful. Not once asked me how I was doing, if I needed a break or anything. He drilled the whole time. Taking my impression he was even forceful. He seemed so rush. I couldn’t wait to get out of the office. I new right away if I had to see him again that I would not be returning after receiving my crown. I asked a different assistant if I could see a different doctor. I even complained to the manager. Something I’ve never done before.

Upon returning for my new crown~ I am so disappointed. The tooth wasn’t even a match. I meet the other doc Dr. MIRANDA. What a difference!! He was absolutely amazing. I am so pleased with his service. He is patient caring and understanding. MELISSA his assistant is wonderful. I just love her bubbly personality and how She really takes her time and Makes YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE. Dr. Miranda took his time to talk to me and offered to redo the crown. If only more doctors could be like him. Five stars for Miranda and Melissa.

I've been going to serene dental for 2 years now and every time I go it's been a wonderful experience from the moment I go inside I am greeted with smiles and kindness from the ladies in the front to the dentists and hygienist in the back.they are very professional and very helpful with any questions you have for them. I'm always satisfied of the work they do to my teeth and come out refreshed so if your looking for great dental care come to serene dental

I was treat like part of the family I have never felt as comfortable at a dentist office like have been this few time I've been there. I had a problem with a tooth, without hesitation they took me in and the fixed it without an appointment. I would recommend them with whoever has teeth problems. Mostly all females but very professional working women. I will go to them with whatever problem I have with my teeth. Thank you ladies continue the great work you do. I was just there 1/5/16.

All the people in the office are so friendly and efficient. They welcome you when you walk in the door, and the Hygienist and Dentist are so thorough and caring. The Dentist remembers your mouth and teeth and really cares about each patient. If you don't like going to the Dentist, you should try Serene - they're the best!

Excellent place with the friendliest staff u could ask for. They make u feel comfortable no matter how bad of an issue u may have. Every visit, each doc. Encouraged and commented on the improvements. For being scared of the dentist, things have really turned around and i no longer am nervious nor scared. I am realy happy with the out come of my new smile. Thanks serene dental and staff.

I have a friend that went to this dental office and they would do a cleaning for her insisted on her doing a deep cleaning which cost 500. They would not do a regular cleaning which she wanted and is covered by her insurance. They are very dishonest and only out to make money. Don’t waste your time going to this dentist. They are not interested in the health of your teeth only the size of their bank account.

Bait and Switch practices in this office. Serene Dental has deceptive pricing practices and change their prices on you whenever they please. Dr. Badaro has left their practice too and I couldn't blame her. I was charged above my insurance rates for my first visit but I let it go and against my better judgement gave them a second chance. The printout didn't match my insurance fee schedule that I was suppose to pay so they adjusted the items that my insurance covered to be lower so they matched and simply raised the other non-listed items from the first print out. So in the end they still charged me the same high prices. I should have ran but figured they have decent reviews for Dr. Badaro and gave them a 2nd chance.

I was told I would have to wait 3+ weeks for an appointment with Dr. Badaro or can be quicker with new doc. I waited the 3 weeks for Dr. Badaro since she had good reviews. Showed up in the morning, asked to be told what I would need to pay out of pocket for the tooth extraction when I signed in because I had a bad feeling about my first visit. After being in the chair, I was told the doctor would be in shortly and the assistance mentioned "He". Dr. Badaro is a she, so I questioned it. Was told Dr. Badaro left, well thank you for letting me know when you called to confirm. After another 10 minutes of waiting in the chair for the "codes to be put in the system", they finally got my price for the extraction. It would be $570 for the procedure now and they don't even have the doctor scheduled, real professional. I have a printout from them that it was for $410 from my first visit on 05/16/19. I walked out of the appointment, you run... run far from these people. Beware and be careful.

I got two crowns from this dentist. Everyone was very nice until another dentist told me the upper crown had a strange whole? So I called to get a replacement, then everything went TERRIBLE. They stopped talking to me and even THREATENED me! They were super DISRESPECTFUL. Eventually they reimbursed me and left me to go look for someone to fix their BIG mistake. Now four years later the other crown broke. I braved up and went to have them check it, they had the guts to CHARGE me for what I already knew was they’re second mistake. So yeah... WATCH OUT. If they make a mistake they will NOT try to fix it. Just hope everything goes well because if not you might be MOCKED and might LOSE your money too.
