It was the worse experience I’ve ever had. The people were nice but the work was not so great. I needed a crown on a tooth I broke. Once I received the crown it fell out a few times. Continuing to go back, my tooth next to the crowned tooth then started bothering me. I informed the dentist and they said it had nothing to do with the previous crown. I then decided to go to another dentist and they said yes it was done from the previous work on the crown. I started getting calls to come in for an appointment. I said no for the appointment. Started receiving calls saying I owe them $50 for a missed appointment. Never again

After contemplating having teeth removed or getting fillings, I went with the later. Dr. Lockhart and her team at Sweetgum Dental are very professional, experienced and show an excellent level of concern for the patients. Normally for a filing I’ll go under nitrous oxide so I will not be aware of the procedure. Not this time and I didn’t experience any pain. I never felt the needle with the anesthesia. In addition, the dental assistant was constantly asking me if I was ok prior to and during the procedure and I really appreciated that level of concern.

The Staff is extremely rude. I had an issue with trying to make an appointment and was told I could not because I have been in and missed an appointment which is not true. I then asked if they can put this in writing so that I can attempt to make a police report and was told no because of policy. So I have to go out of my way to prove a point to get in writing the “policy” that was stated even though my information was compromised at their office. I was told have the police summons them so I’m in the process of making a report of identity theft with no cooperation. I’m Retired Army and would not recommend any Military to spend money with someone who will not help resolve issues respectfully and having information compromised is never a good thing.
