Hawaii Family Dental in Ewa I have nothing but good thing to say about the folks who work there. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Yesterday there was an issue with my appointment-- miraculously got canceled and rescheduled for several months away (Dang call center) but front desk found a way to get me in anyways and I appreciate them for that because I took off work just so I can make this appointment. My regular hygienist also found a way in her busy schedule to get my teeth checked and cleaned yesterday. Again, I was very appreciative of her for doing that. My hygienist has the most calming and relaxing demeanor about her with feather weight hands that you won't even evel feel she is examining and cleaning your teeth - I've been to many dental offices and never experience anything like it. She generally has a very soothing and kind personality. Used to be dental appointment is not something I look forward to but not so anymore with HFDS. Previous months ago my gums weren't as healthy as they should have been and needed work but Dr. Meridith took great care of my gum issues and after a couple of visits my gums have returned to a healthy state. I also like the text reminder of your upcoming appointment and hot towels after your teeth cleaning is something to look forward to as well.

Dr. Abraham was a really great surgeon! I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled out and felt no pain 😊 he was always checking in to make sure everything was okay and I really appreciated that he communicated with both my nurse and myself during the entire procedure making sure everything ran smoothly. Highly recommended!

My mom had a filling, but they left residue, didn’t do a professional job & still causing pain. Tried to reschedule under emergency visit, but they were closed for a month & rep said no doctor responding. They always seem to quote 1 price & then add charges after the procedure. All 3 of us have had they same issue with the excess charges & the little dentist talking more than doing the procedure. Now going to Ewa Dental Clinic & much better served, lower costs.

Dr Eng is the only dr I will trust with my dental work for the past 7 years since moving to the islands he has so much passion in what he does .
He always has the best interest in my dental care an his patients that I know who sees him ..

Billing. They know that they are unclear and misleading with quotes. Then charge significantly higher or charge of additional things not included in the quote.

Love the new Saturday appointments with their Pediatric Dentist, Dr. Peter Lee. Great dentist and friendly staff. I was able to schedule exam and cleaning appointments for both of my girls together, which is so convenient. At the end, my girls were smiling as they received tokens for their toy machine. Definitely worth the drive!

The staff made my 2 and 4 year old sons feel really comfortable. The stickers on the walls and teddy bears helped a lot. I was so surprised how well the appointment went. The kids were thrilled to get a prize out of the coin machine. The staff members are true pros and know how to deal with kids. I will recommend this place to everyone with kids!

Need to be more experienced on what they are doing, if others need to do the drs job, in this dental office. Went in to replace my temporary cap that fell out. It Was an scary experience. Assistant was doing it, because dentist / dr. Was busy. It’s like they were rushing, assistant didn’t know how to form tooth, had a hard time to fit it. used a small dental electric sander on my new form temp cap tooth when it was in my mouth, to shorten it. Breathed in like Chemical taste fumes I thought I was going to choke. She stopped, thank god. that was wrong. Until finally another dental assistant, I guess she was more experienced re-did my temp cap. But cemented my temp cap. Now I’m afraid when I go back to my dr will he not be able to remove my temporary cap easily. More torture. I hope not. Pray for me. Aloha

I haven't gone to the dentist for a really long time. All the staff and especially my dentist is so good! They are very caring and really pay attention to the patients. They make me feel comfortable and are aware of my needs. I really enjoy coming here and would definitely recommend them

Dr Schuller was very kind. The staff was very accommodating as well. My hygienist was Jessica. She was amazing. I had to get a deep cleaning because I havent gone to the dentist for maybe a year. She showed me my x rays and explained what we were going to do. And the entire time we did the deep cleaning she checked on me and asked me if I was doing alright and if I was comfortable. She was very patient and tedious and took her time. I’ve gone to other dentists before and the hygienists would just jam the floss in when flossing your teeth, instead of gently wiggling it in between your teeth. She didn’t do that. She was very gentle. She even called me a few hours later to ask me how I was doing. It’s little things like that, that I appreciate. Thank you!
