Stone Falls Dental Care: Carleigh Prane, DMD

I loved the experiences I've had at Stone Falls so far! I was able to see Dr. Prane the same day about a chip I had noticed on my tooth. I loved my hygienist Doreen and would definitely sit in her chair again. Additionally, the fluoride treatment I received was by far the best I've ever had and did not leave a bad taste in my mouth like others I've had in the past. 10/10 would come again!

If you’re looking for a dentist office that provides general dental care plus Invisalign treatment, this is the best one in town! My husband and I have been coming here for our check ups and cleanings. Dr. Prane worked on my cavities and it was painless. I recently finished my Invisalign treatment and am so satisfied with the results! If you’ve ever done an Invisalign treatment, you know how often you have to visit your dentist office to do check ups and getting the new set of trays. I have always been able to get in within a timely manner. Dentist assistant Jessie and the team are very professional and welcoming. Highly recommend this place!

My daughter recommended Dr. Prane to me when I moved here almost 2 years ago. It proved to be a wonderful recommendation indeed. From the cheerful front office staff who greets you by name to the dental hygienist, Caroline, to Dr. Prane's skill. My semi-annual visits for teeth cleanings have been pleasant because of Caroline. She's cheerful. thorough and explains each procedure as she goes along.
Dr. Prane does not push procedures but skillfully & successfully had to apply a crown to a tooth in need. And, on December 30, 2022, while the office was technically closed. she was available to file down 2 back teeth I chipped until more permanent repairs can be done soon.
Serving their patients happily & skillfully is what you remember about all the office staff. Thank you, Dr. Prane, for running such a pleasant office.

Dr Prane is truly the best dentist I have ever had!! I have been a patient since they opened their office. Dr Prane does excellent dental work and is extremely gentle. The staff is always welcoming, kind and helpful. I highly recommend Stone Falls Dental!

I have very few regrets in life. One of my biggest is the day I stepped foot in Stone Falls Dental. I don’t doubt that the many reviews are from truly happy patients. After all those reviews are what drove me to this very office. Unfortunately for me, this would be the biggest mistake of my life. Next to my first marriage anyway.

First, I want to state that the entire staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Especially to those of us with massive anxiety when it comes to visiting the dentist. It’s for this reason that I decided against writing a negative review. I decided to just suffer until I was able to afford another dentist visit with another office. But you see, these guys will e-mail you CONSTANTLY. No problem. I’d just unsubscribe. But the e-mails kept coming. So I blocked the contact. Or so I thought. Today I received a text message. Even though I blocked the number, too! At this point I am just angry. So I took some time away from my day-to-day to write up my review.

I had initially gone in for a routine checkup and to address any issues they may have found. Again, I have anxiety so I put off my dentist visits. I didn’t have too many issues thankfully. Everything seemed doable. The first visit they did a cleaning and tackled a problem tooth. I had mentioned to the assistant that my bite felt off afterward. She assured me that it wasn’t. I’ve been to numerous dentists and any time I say something is off, they fix it. They don’t decide for themselves that it isn’t. It's MY bite. I think I'd know if it felt off. So I left feeling uncomfortable. I remained that way. No biggie. I just figured I’d mention it again at my next appointment where they were going to continue my treatment plan. At this point I expressed how much pain I was in. It felt like TMJ. My jaw kept clicking and I’d hear this noise in my ear. And my ears! They felt so full and heavy. I initially thought maybe I was getting sick. But this remained for MONTHS! Along with my jaw locking up. At this point I knew it was TMJ. The assistant agreed that it sounded like TMJ and then took a look at my tooth and said she saw the issue. Odd since last time she said there was no issue and claimed my bite was fine. But it was getting fixed so I focused on that. Things were a bit better, but she claimed it would need time to fully heal. This was a few months ago!

Before I left they tried to set me up with another appointment. But since I am an out-of-pocket patient I told them it would be some time before I could come back. I said I’d call when I had the funds. But they must not have taken me too seriously because they’d send reminder notes via snail mail, e-mails, and texts. Surprisingly no pigeon. Again, it's only been a few months! It's not like a whole year passed by!

I live every day with constant jaw pain, my ears feel like they want to pop, and the tension is just enough to drive a person mad. I’ve had arguments with my husband who insists that I am ok. I know that he just wants me to stay calm because crying every day doesn’t help, but I can’t help it. I’m miserable. I thought about returning, but considering the fact that these issues came on AFTER visiting this office and the assistant told me there is no issue and it couldn’t be from the treatment, I didn’t see a point. But hey, I guess if you can’t see it, it doesn’t exist, right?

I will mention that I was told if there is any pain to please let them know. I did. Last visit. But this time was told the teeth they worked on wouldn't cause issues with my jaw. I'm here to say that I've never once experienced an issue with my jaw. Never. This started after my very first visit.

Stone Falls Dental is wonderful! I had been looking for a new dentist since moving to the area and am so happy to have found this group!

With every visit, I’ve been met with the wonderful staff who feel more like good friends.

I have received exception, in-depth care at each visit that never feels rushed and always allows me to make the best decisions for my lifestyle and budget. The staff is also exceptionally talented and gentle. There’s never tooth pain like with other dentists I’ve seen in the past.

I absolutely love this dentist. My husband and I have been going here for the past year and it is the first time that we both feel comfortable with a dentist. The staff is amazing, the hygienists are so thoughtful and sweet, and Dr. Prane is very knowledgeable and patient. They work with you financially and are understanding to your needs. I couldn’t recommend a better dentist office than here.

As a patient with anxiety issues, everyone at Stone Falls is supportive and caring. Dr. Prane doesn’t recommend unnecessary procedures, has a very gentle hand, and great chair side manner.

The dental hygienist Caroline is truly a pleasure to see. She makes cleanings easy and really does calm my anxiety. Not running from cleanings has helped! I actually enjoy hanging and chatting with her while she is keeping me beautiful smile sparkly :)

The front desk staff is what starts the great experience! Sara and Danielle have such warm and welcoming smiles and personalities. Between checking on you, explaining insurance and out of pocket costs, and just really caring how you are.. is what makes them so wonderful.

Stone Falls Dental Care is my family's choice in dental care. We love nearly 2 hours away and still drive here for the staff at Stone Falls. They've been great at working around our hectic schedule and re-planning around unforseen events. The entire staff is fun and friendly, while being efficient and professional. Which is hard to pull off! Even my kids love being there!
