I have been a patient of Dr. Barta for over the past 20 years. Had a very bad experience trying to get the office staff/doctor to call in my pre-meds this visit. After four phone calls and speaking with three staff members that promised the prescription would be called in it was still not called in prior to my visit today. Had a long discussion with the doctor today and she assured me this will not happen again. She indicated that they have poor communication among the staff that caused the issue. I love the office and the service you get when you go in. Hopefully they will get this issue resolved and no other patient will have to suffer.

I was so nervous going in because I hadn’t been to the dentist in years. They made me feel right at home. She explained everything she would be doing in a way I could understand. Very good experience would definitely recommend.

I haven't had the best experience with dentists or dental visits in the past. Disrespect, pain, and a lack of general care/knowledge put me in a lot of discomfort, more than once. As a result, I avoided going to the dentist until my teeth began to hurt so badly that I couldn't avoid it any longer.

I chose West 10th Dental because they had great reviews, and I needed help. On the day of my appointment, I went in on the verge of tears because I was so nervous. The building and the décor could use some updating, but the staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly (not in an overwhelming way, but in a genuine way).

The dentist answered all of my questions and treated me with kindness and respect. She listened to my concerns and explained everything carefully, and in the end, it turns out that the pain wasn't a cracked tooth or several cavities, as I feared, but a long-term sinus infection and a problematic filling from a previous dentist that was causing me to bite down wrong. She fixed the problem with the latter and I noticed a difference immediately. The pain was gone within a day.

I was so comfortable after talking to her and her assistant that I decided to schedule a cleaning. They had a cancellation and got me in the next day; the second visit was just as pleasant as the first. I made an appointment for my spouse right after, and I'm happy to say that I've found a dentist and a dental place that I am confident in.

The dental tech was very rough on my daughter’s teeth. I understand that it is not a pleasure sometimes going to the dentist, but my 18 year old was not treated well.

My son had a horrible experience. He had a cut on the inside of his lip so he was crying while getting a cleaning. Nobody made him feel comfortable, when he asked for a drink of water they told him no and to swallow what they put in his mouth. I am very disappointed and upset over this visit. We will be switching dentists.

The entire team was friendly, and beyond kind to my family and I during my visit.

The lady that talked to me over the phone in the bills department was the rudest person I have ever talked to. She literally hanged up on me! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Very gentle and kind with my 6- and 11-year-olds. And they did an excellent job explaining procedures to me and my kids. The staff is personable, friendly, and seem to enjoy the work they do. They are great!

I’ll be finding another dentist. I prefer the same dentist each time and one who takes their time.
