Staff were great! Fit my grandmother in for a same day appointment. She had 4 teeth removed and hardly any pain afterwards
Would highly recommend.

I've come here for a very long time and was pretty happy. These past few years, things have sadly and steadily gone downhill.

In my experience, the amount of contact is intense/excessive. I'll get multiple reminder emails before an appointment and 2-3 times that many texts. For a 10am appointment, I received 4 texts and 2 emails in just a couple hours. Oh, and if you don't reply to confirm you will trigger more texts and lose your slot. I know they need to keep those chairs packed but dang.

I've seen all the dentists I liked leave after a short time. I don't recognize any of the techs or admin staff anymore. And I come here a lot: on average I get 2 cleanings, a root canal, a crown, and a filling every year. There's no chairside manner whatsoever anymore -- i.e., pulling my mouth open without introducing themselves, asking if I brush my teeth (someone actually aaked me that), even going through my history and shaming me for all my crowns/fillings even though I have bad teeth genetically. There's a general lack of friendliness overall now which is sad and disappointing. I used to feel like I had a "care team" but now I disgust them. (For the record, I brush my teeth at least twice a day precisely because they are prone to issues.)

This is my favorite experience at West 10th Dental: I'd had a root canal and the endodontist didn't get all of it. It happens sometimes. I know what the pain of dying root feels like so I call for an urgent appointment. My dentist didn't believe me and told me so. Without warning, she puts some freon on a cotton swab and stabs the tooth in question with more force than necessary. It was horrific, like a spike shooting lightning through every nerve I had. I actually screamed, the first time I've ever screamed in my life. She got really nasty with me because it was a "place of business," I was just trying to get attention, etc. Not only was I in excruciating pain and crying involuntarily, I was confused, scared, and shocked by her actions. Then she said it wasn't her problem and I needed to see the endodontist. I can't even describe how angry I was. She doesn't work there anymore, FYI.

I dunno. I used to be happy here but it only gets worse each time. There's a level of condescension, rudeness, and indifference here that I can't abide any longer, especially since I spend so much money at the dentist every year. I guess how good they used to be set the bar too high and they just can't reach it any longer. I think it's time to move on after all these years.

Friendly, efficient, professional and eager to please would be how I describe the folks at WTD. They always address concerns, explain in plain language my dental issues, and then explain what needs to be done to correct those issues.

The Dental Hygienist, Saundra, seemed to be in a hurry. The was the roughest cleaning ever. Not very good at all. I’m sure I’m not the only that would complain on her

The West 10th Dental staff was extremely kind, explaining the procedure every step of the way. I was treated with care and professionalism. Grateful!!

I was kind of worried at first because of having such a hard time pulling it and with it breaking off at the gum line. But it seems to be alright.
2 days later the stitches came out, and at the place that was cut it doesn't seem to be reattaching, it moves around like it has a flap and it's been a week now since it was pulled. I don't know if reattaching it would fix the problem.

I think I might have a problem with my gums. One of my stitches came out the next day and the other came out the day after that. I noticed this morning that the gum hasn't healed back in place, infact I found that it is just flapping up and down, and doesn't seem like it's going to reattach. I don't know if putting stitches in it now would help seeing that it's been more than a week since I was there, but I don't know what you think would be best. I thought that if stitching wouldn't work that you might want to cut it out completely because of the way it's moving around I am afraid it's going to get caught on something and rip it out anyway. Please advise me on what you want me to do. Thank you.

That was a short cleaning, it tooks less than 15 min, much quicker than each time before, I am worry about if the cleaning has all way through. After a short cleaning, a male doctor came in, checked inside my mouth with his headlamp, I do not even remember if he touched any teeth of my, then he walked away without a word. I just feel yesterday visit is so different than before, from check in to come out total 30 minutes, just feel that way, west 10 group is new place for me, and I am also new for west 10th group
