I have been in the DSM area about three years and couldn’t find a dentist I felt comfortable with until I found The Dental Studio of Iowa. From the minute you walk in the door all the staff talks to you like they have known you for years. The office has a modern open feel to it and not stuffy. They have screens in every room to watch Netflix if you prefer while they are working on your teeth. I preferred looking out the large windows with all the natural light.
The doc took a chance on working on a gap in my teeth that has look wise bothered me for years. No dentist would even attempt or have a consultation with me about it. I put my trust in the doctor today and I could not be happier. He has helped fix something I am very self-conscious about and couldn’t make it look any better than he has. I was so happy with the results I could have cried.

Dr. Conner is a rock star! I had a bridge done and it was a little tricky since I'd waited so long to get it. He made sure that I was thrilled with the results. He was even pickier about it than I was. Wonderful front desk and LOVE the funny dental assistant, Ashley, that I always have. She keeps my mind off the procedures!

I was met by a smiling receptionist as soon as I arrived, and any worries about my upcoming visit vanished within seconds. The studio was extremely clean and professional, yet comfortable. Dr. Elmitt was prompt, attentive, and meticulous in his work. The hygienist and Dr. Elmitt were a joy to be around, and for the first time in my life, I found myself enjoying the dentist! The technology and staff are amazing, but what I loved most of all was the education and information I received throughout my visit. I really like how the dentist goes through and explains your xray with you. As a member of the healthcare field I understand how important education of patients and clients is, and not only that but getting the information to them in a way they understand. I am so happy we switched to The Dental Studio of Iowa. Oh and they were awesome with my young son for his first dentist appt (13 months.)
