When you move, finding a new dentist--a good one--can be challenging. I went to Dr. Karch at Dental Studio of Iowa after having a not so good experience at a different dentist. I am so glad that I found Dr. Karch and the Dental Studio. Dr. Karch took time to explain everything, listened to my concerns, and we set up a treatment plan. I did not feel like he was was rushing me through to get to the next patient. Beth, the dental assistant, was friendly and helped me feel more relaxed than I have ever been at a dentist. I don't usually look forward to going to the dentist, but I can say that Dr. Karch and the staff at Dental Studio made my visit very pleasant.

I can't say enough wonderful things about The Dental Studio of Iowa :) Every one I saw is very kind and very knowledgeable. Dr. Karch was is very detailed and explained my options as well as talking me through each step he did while working on my teeth. He is not only a great dentist but person as well. He made time to let me gab a bit (as I'm a chatty Kathy) as well as his great staff. The building is beautiful inside. They gave me a blanket because the room was chilling, offered heated neck pillow and I was told I could watch whatever I wanted on Netflix. The TV is positioned so they can move it in front and over you. I felt like I was at a spa :) he also took a picture of the area he was gonna to work on and showed me on the TV. Again, I can't say enough wonderful things about this dental office. 😀

I have absolutely dreaded going to the dentist for the past 25 years. I was always told that I wasn't doing enough to keep my teeth and gums healthy. When I was told that I needed a tooth pulled that caused me no problems, I sought out a second opinion. This is when I made an appointment with The Dental Studio of Iowa. My perception towards going to the dentist has completely changed. The dentists, hygienist, and receptionist are all very kind, caring, patient, and positive! I would highly suggest The Dental Studio of Iowa to anyone looking for a dentist or for anyone who feels uneasy about going to the dentist. Update: The tooth that I was told that needed to be pulled "immediately" just had a crack in the filling. Dr. Elmitt fixed it and it has been great!!

My experience at The Dental Studio of Iowa was exceptional. Everyone was very personable and friendly. I went in for a routine cleaning, and a small cavity was discovered. Dr. Karch was able to fix it right then and there, saving me from having to take more time off work.

We love this place! Switched because it was more convenient for us but am so glad we did. My little loves coming here and the staff has been so good with her. She used to hate the dentist but loves getting her teeth colored pink!
